Biden: Denying Climate Change ‘Almost Like Denying Gravity’

By Phillip Swarts -March 7, 2015

Vice President Joe Biden slammed those who question climate change, saying that ignoring the scientific evidence is “almost like denying gravity now.”

“I think it’s close to mindless,” Mr. Biden said in a preview clip for the upcoming season of HBO’s Vice.

The vice president pointed specifically to 2012’s Hurricane Sandy as an example of how climate change is making the world’s weather patterns more severe.

“All of a sudden people who were saying it couldn’t happen; they’re now knowing they have to plan for another one of these storms, and another and another and another,” Mr. Biden said, Mediaite reported Friday.

He also pointed to Wall Street financial institutions that are starting to plan and make investments based on the effects of climate change.

“When the financial institutions begin to price in the cost of carbon for cost of doing business, you know it’s reality,” Mr. Biden said.

According to NASA, atmospheric data for the past 650,000 years shows that the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has never been higher than 300 parts per million — until 1950. Now, in 2014, the level is estimated to be at 400 parts per million.

Oh, right - like we've never had major hurricanes before. The only thing that made this one worse was the path it took toward large cities - had the center made landfall over a sparsely populated area it wouldn't have even been discussed. The system also absorbed a Nor'easter that happened to be in its path, making it larger - was this also caused by "climate change"?

If there really is climate change, this certainly isn't an argument that it is exists. So embarrassingly nonsensical.

Sure climate changes. The ice ages proved that.

But is human activity changing it? Is the climate somehow getting worse? Can we predict or prevent changes in the climate?

Is human activity affecting the earth's gravitational field? Could we put policies in place to change gravity

Biden’s right. There is no gravity. The earth sucks. (I read it on a bumper sticker so it must be true )

It is a sure sign that the advocates of the “global warming” and “climate change” hoaxes know that the public no longer believes that the former is occurring or that the latter represents an immediate, global threat.

Few, if any, alarmist researchers have disclosed that their work was funded by government agencies, companies, foundations and others with enormous financial, policy, political and other interests in their work, ensuring that their conclusions support manmade factors and debunk natural causes.

I got an email from the president wanting me to “out” climate change deniers.

I’m a climate change denier. So far, all I see is weather. The oceans haven’t risen a millimeter. The icecaps haven’t shrunk, despite a record number of volcanoes spewing forth more carbon into the atmosphere than all of mankind put together over 6,000 years.

But I do understand the powers that be wanting to enrich themselves the way that Al Gore and the Clinton’s have. It’s quite the scam.

Ultimately, as far as I’ve read and understand, much like the weather, science does not have the answer to gravity.

Yes, it can we witnesses, it can be watched and measured, but it can not be created nor manipulated.

Climate change? Yes, there is climate change. There has always been climate change, as there has always been gravity. Climate change due to man's CO2 contribution is a different matter. Man's contribution is small when seen from the big picture. How small? Let your eyes get the picture:

Got the picture! Now, everyone in unison ask this question: How in hell is man going to eliminate man-made CO2 and make a difference?

Doggone! I could've had a V8!

From an earlier post:

From scientific evidence, the Earth goes through cycles between oxygen and CO2. It goes like this:

Through photosysthesis, CO2 is used by plant life and blue green algae (cycanobacteria). These we call the photosynthesizers. As free oxygen is released into the atmosphere atmospheric, CO2 is being depleted. If photosynthesis uses too much CO2, the Earth cools due to CO2’s reduced green house effect. As this cooling effect progresses, the Earth could get so cold that all life would no longer exist. The Earth would become frozen in ice with a high amount of atmospheric oxygen and CO2 levels so low that there would be little greenhouse effect. Luckily, this does not happen because there are what they call, methanogens, which utilize the waste products and leftovers of the photosynthesizers for their metabolism and generate methane and carbon dioxide as a byproduct. They also create that organic stuff called petrochemicals (oil). This balance between the photosynthesizers and the methanogens is the true story of the Earth’s temperature regulation.

If the Earth gets too warm, due to an increase in solar activity, the photosynthesizers kick in because increased temperatures promote their growth. As the oceans fill up with more algae and there is more plant life, more CO2 is being used. They will continue in the feast mode until they cause the Earth to chill. This reduction in temperature is not conducive to the photosynthesizers. Their growth will slow and reach that equilibrium when the optimum Earth’s temperature is reached.

In short, we don’t need to buy electric cars and our self-serving politicians to combat global warming. We can let the photosynthesizers and the methanogens do the work for us.

The point is that the theory of gravity can be proven using the scientific method. We can predict based on the theory of gravity exactly what will happen, and it happens every time. The theory of man made global warming has produced predictions that almost never happen, yet it’s advocates try to mock skeptics by saying “yeah, well gravity is a theory too, so jump out of a building”.
