Why we'll never bake your fake 'wedding' cake
WND ^ | Matt Barber

Posted on 03/07/2015 8:57:13 AM PST by Woodland

Dear homosexual,

We are your fellow sinners and no better than you. We know this. We are saved from eternal torment, self-wrought, by the grace of Christ alone. If you are an unrepentant, “out and proud” homosexual practitioner, then you are not. It is our deepest prayer that you, too, will accept the free gift of eternal salvation, repent and “go and sin no more.”

The alternative is a living hell.

Let us be direct. According to the unequivocal moral precepts of biblical Christianity, explicit throughout both the Old and New Testaments, your homosexual behavior is sin. Sin is evil. Homosexual behavior is the central, defining characteristic of your counterfeit “gay marriage.” Therefore, “gay marriage” is evil. Christians are obligated to avoid sin – to “do no evil.” “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality. …” (1 Corinthians 6:9).

It really is that simple. This is why, as faithful Christians (apostate “Christians” notwithstanding), we will never have anything whatsoever to do with your pagan, sin-based “same-sex wedding” rituals.

We will not bake your fake wedding cake.

We will not arrange your fake wedding flowers.

We will not take your fake wedding pictures.

We will not host your fake wedding reception.

We will not do these things because to do these things is to disobey God. It is to aid you in your sin, to cause you to stumble, which, in and of itself, is to layer sin upon sin. “It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he would cause one of these little ones to stumble” (Luke 17:2).

Amen.

That is the issue.

I understand your point, but be careful, as you may encounter a couple who targets you, and will sue you for just even mentioning how Our Savior feels about their “union”.

There was a baker that did exactly that. He was willing to provide the cake and all of the supplies and instructions for the “client” to write their own message on the cake. He did not deny them service.

However, he was stilled sued. There is also a widow florist who could lose everything, including the house she lives in.

I am a musician (retired now, thank God). While there may be sincere couples out there who just want to have a nice party, there are predators who will set up individuals to be destroyed if they don’t wholeheartedly CELEBRATE the agenda. This has been a struggle for me too, so I appreciate your response!

If you “Lovingly tell the truth” you could still lose everything EVEN if you agree to provide the very best service. Your genuine and loving efforts to provide the most awesome reception ever will not convince them, if you share that you do not believe in what they are doing.

The couple that approaches you might really be two companions who really want a wedding.

Or it could be a set-up.

Be as wise as serpents and innocent as doves, my Brother in Christ.

Perhaps. I can see both sides. If it were me I would not have chosen the path you have, not because of hate but because of the reasons I previously stated. Good luck to you.

It’s called “Isolating the target” in the Alinsky rules.

Bake them an Ax murderer cake. When they complain say:

“OH NO!...We’re equal opportunity here but we made a mistake, we must have given them the faggot cake....now they’re going to kill us”

I will build caskets for gay people, and care very much about the people who buy them. While gay marriages are not real, gay death is very real.

But look: a casket is only a casket. Suppose they insist you engrave some godless gay slogan on it; will you still feel so broad-minded? I see where you're coming from. If a merchant of any kind puts something out for sale, he does it without worrying about the individual peccadilloes of the people who buy it. I might be a baker, but do I care whether the person buying my cakes is a homosexual, or a pedophile or a neo-Nazi? of course not! It's only when the homosexual or pedophile or neo-Nazi insists that I tailor my good or service in such a way that I have to participate in his homosexuality or pedophilia or neo-Nazism that I have a right and an obligation to refuse him.

If this letter was to tell them “no”, and why the “no”, the letter contains much meanspirited provocation.

If you want to piss off a lot of people, it’s perfect.

Myself, I’d tend to avoid this store. Too much self righteousness. I had dealings with people like this.

I prefer stores operated by Christians.

However, he was stilled sued.

He should sue them back for spreading hepatitis all over his showroom.

there are predators who will set up individuals to be destroyed

Sounds like the Westboro "Baptist" "Church"...a bunch of predatory lawyers. There must be an existing legal remedy against such unethical entrapment suits.

Sin is evil.

I do not quite agree. It is a sin for a Jew to eat pork. It is a sin for me to work on a Sunday. Neither is evil. Sins are offenses against God and God's law, and many but not all are evil. However, the attempt to force others to violate their deeply held religious beliefs is one of the most evil actions we will encounter in our lifetime.

The gays who demand that others endorse and actively support their homosexuality are pure evil, so shockingly malignant that I am amazed anyone tolerates them. Democrats find those demanding homosexuals to be useful, which means the democrats who join in that game are evil too.

Thanks for the advice. I can live with the outcome. I will not deny Jesus to my fellow man, and He will not deny me to our Father.

I came to this decision thru much prayer. Short of a burning bush, God couldn't be more clear with me on this. If I get sued for sharing my faith, I will count it a joy. But I will love, and love much. Thanks.

Exactly. That’s the exact case of the florist who was sued-the sodomites had been customers for app a decade, but in this case they wanted her to specifically make decorations specifically “celebrating” a sodomite union they were calling a marriage. It didn’t matter that she had served them for a decade, when she declined to participate in their celebration of their perversion, they sued.

Can't a bakery stop making wedding cakes? If a person hires someone privately to decorate a cake it's their own decision.

I hate that it's reached this point. These gay activists surely couldn't want someone who's opposed to their event involved. I'd wager the choice is made just to cause difficulty for those with beliefs that are different from their own.

Jesus didn’t embrace the money-changers. He kicked them out of the freaking temple.

Setting somebody up to be sued is a horrible thing, and probably IS against the law in some arcane way.

However, when the scam artist is a member of a “protected class”, I am sure that statute is nowhere to be found.

That being said, Christians have to weigh this in their own hearts, knowing that, by speaking the Truth, they can be risking everything.

Even so, it’s even worse in moslem countries, both for Christians AND homosexuals!

Just sayin’.

I wonder if those businesses could call it a hate crime when they’re targeted like that?

Well, of course, “much prayer” is a prerequisite to making a decision like this one!

Be blessed.

They can call it whatever they like!

It doesn’t mean they will be supported by the “Powers that Be” though.

But WE have a Higher power! :-)

I guarantee these “outraged” homosexuals shop every single wedding service supplier to find these people. Gaystapo in not interested in equality but full superiority. They are even worse than the poverty pimps. At least Sharpton and Jackson will go away after you pay them off. The Gaystapo doesn’t want your money they want to destroy anything that disagrees with them.
