This unmitigated bulls**t never fails to raise my hair up. Ignorance combined with presumption does not equal stupid. It's something far beyond.

Is there anyone more stinking racist than people who think they aren't racist because they come up with such simple-minded ideas?

I'm an American, but I can never be President of the United States. I wasn't born in the United States. I was born in the District of Columbia, blessed by a paternal surname of obscure German origin, traced back to a ship that brought that particular set of ancestors to these shores in 1732.

Does that make me a German? Certainly not a British subject, however, even if that was before Independence, but certainly English since the set of surnames two flights behind me are all from that neck of the woods.

And since my grandfather, one of those handing me one of those English surnames, was half Creek, which almost certainly makes me part Indian and at least in part "descendant of slavery," one might say (though most of my ancestors had a more colorful description, something about a "woodshed.").

Only an Indian or an Anglo saddled with the weakest since of their own history could come up with this Junior High kind of nonsense.

Being an American in the 21st Century, I think I'll be very realistic and just pardon my own self, thank you very much.

1. I am as much of a native of America as the Chief is. I was born here, and even if I returned to my ancestral lands, I would be considered an American.

The Indians are a conquered people. They should give thanks that they weren’t wiped out.

Well, we can always make an argument to deport the Indians back to China or Siberia, depending where they came from. If Stalin was in power today, I don't think he'd be too kind. Heck, I don't think Putin would be too kind wither if they acted up over there. The majority of my ancestors came after the Indian wars and the ones that were here during those times did not fight so far to my knowledge. I am a Native American too since I was born here. BTW, if "Chief What's His Face" wanted to deport me, where would I go? I'm German and Swedish on Mom's side and Serbian, Russian and Russian Jew on Dad's. My last name, if it came over intact, is Serbian in origin, most common place of my surname points to me being a Serbian from Kosovo. I guess if I had to go by last name, I'd be sent to Kosovo.

Anyhoo, we need to stop these stupid games. I know the Indians got the short end of the stick but that's history. We've said our "mea culpas" in spades by giving them our technology, allowing them to have their own reservations and casinos, welfare (which really hurts them) and so forth. We all need to work together if America is to survive.
