You are correct except until tribals were allowed to leave the reservations that were provided, they were almost like an interrment camp...
I don’t have a clue as to what the “chief” would do if his actions actually came true...Probably he would be so totally lost surprise and confusion he wouldn’t know which way was up....*LOL*
I was only interested in why you think it would be interesting to know the DNA of posters in regards to their opinions on immigration, or more specifically in this thread, a stupid article that is confused about immigration.
Note to the Tribe: don’t bring a tomahawk to a gunfight...
In my opinion, it would be funny for the posters to be making snide remarks about people that they may be unknowingly a part of...Does that clarify my curiosity to you now?
That’s patently ridiculous !
Not ALL Indians were put on reservations!
You are bereft of a massive amount of factual history, and have a chip the size of several redwoods, on your shoulder.
I haven’t a drop of Indian blood.
Make of that what you will.
Absolutely spot on! The difference between us and the
so-called Native Americans is that our hostile takeover
was recent enough in human history to be documented for
the ages. Using their logic not one foot of human
occupied land anywhere in the whole world is currently in
the hands of its’ rightful owners! If they want it they
can try to take it.
I don’t recall ever saying ALL tribals were placed om reservations...What I did say was accurate...
So, I’m not a citizen, good, I don’t have an individual health care mandate..
Let me in on the monthly casino stipend and I’ll happily immigrate.
One look at their reservations tells the truth.
My ancestors bought land fair and square from the natives back in the 1620s. Little place that is now called “Manhattan”
True...If archeaologists are accurate, they beginning of humanoids was on the land we now call Africa..
That's the point I got. If you fail to organize and fight the invaders when they are few, then you will eventually face a more populous enemy and may well lose everything you have to them.
Works for me.
One of my favorite quotes by Winston Churchill:
If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed;
if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly;
you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case.
You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.
You think that this is a race discussion and that people’s views on accurate history would change, if they find out they have some particular DNA?
Are you left winger, or black militant, or a member of some racist Indian group or KKK or something?
I was thinking the same thing. A great something grandfather came to Indiana from Germany in the mid 1700’s. He fought for The British in the French and Indian war and served under George Washington in the Revolutionary war. Like many settlers of the area he took a native bride and had many children. Rinse and repeat for a couple more generations and a couple two or three wars.
What you posted was just ambiguous enough to make it include ALL INDIANS.
You posted it; you are responsible for what it says....which wasn’t accurate.
I don’t know how it is in the west, but in the south there has been intermarriages between the people for so long that many would be surprised what their bloodlines could show way down the line...
I am Scots/Irish and Ani-Yun-Wiya that I know of, but there is probably British, Dutch, German, and African blood in there also...
If you only still had the title, eh?
