What If Obama Wants a 3rd Term?
The Rush Limbaugh Show ^ | March 6th 2015 | Rush Limbaugh

Posted on 03/06/2015 4:31:37 PM PST by Jacquerie

Let's fast forward to, say, May, June of 2016.

Let's say that Mrs. Clinton has withstood all of this e-mail stuff, that Elizabeth Warren has not gotten in the race, that Algore took the temperature and decided not to go, that it's just Mrs. Clinton and Joe Biden. On the other side, the Republican field has a great list of possible candidates, and they will have by that time engaged in a vigorous debate which may have served to educate the country on the foibles and the problems of the past eight years, and the country may be looking forward to a dramatic change to Republican in the election of 2016.

Obama fully aware of this, would go on television and say that the Democrat field is so weak that he's not confident that Mrs. Clinton can win. He might even take steps to make sure she can't win. You know, sabotage her campaign. And then call a national speech to the nation in which the main point is that it's beginning to look like the Republicans will win the White House, and this is something that he can't risk. Not after eight courageous years of transforming America!

We just cannot put it all to the risk of being unraveled and undone by these racist, sexist, misogynist, whatever else Republicans. So as a service to the nation and to the nation, he is going to forget the Twenty-Second Amendment and either not leave office or run for reelection himself as the Democrat nominee. Just imagine that scenario. I don't care how unreal it sounds, how unbelievable it sounds. Imagine it. What would anybody do?

What would anybody do if busses pulled up in front of the Capitol building and ushered all 535 elected officials out and onto the busses to be taken to an unknown FEMA camp location?

That might WORK IF.....
all the aids, staffs and connections with K Street(lobbyists) AND lawyers, State office personnel, and in some cases friends and family..

IN separate concentration camps to be vetted and grilled..
maybe looted of federal funds.. and perks.. and information... to be cross checked with 534’s lies..

All before most of them are hung.. or in minor cases neutered before prison..

“He will get $2 million a speech.”

The guy hates his current job and there is little chance he and his wife will turn down the good life of endless luxury, golf and travel. In other words, they retire to a real kingdom. Speeches only take 30 minutes. 36 holes of golf, maybe about 9 hours. No problem doing both on any given day, as most his speeches will be aligned with warm weather and high-end golf courses, and hers aligned with exotic destinations and good shopping. Highly likely they’ll see each other about 3 times per year. Ecstasy for them both.

>>Most likely terrorist attack followed by marshal law forget the election all together.<<

More of us. I don’t think they want to pick this fight.

Very well said.

The ignorance of our culture is extraordinary.

They fight for “Democracy” and have no idea that they are fighting for Mob rule.

Sadly, very few if any of our Conservative voices seem able to explain the difference.

<>Rush was speculating that the States might have to call an emergency constitutional convention . . . <>

It is way past time for a state convention to undo the damage done by progs since Woody Wilson.

Taken aback?

You mean to say that the idea hasn't been percolating around the back of your mind for at least the last two years?

I would take it as an open declaration of Civil War.

In directly flouting the Constitution, he would lose any moral authority as Commander in Chief.

I believe Obama will try. Whether he succeeds or not will depend on us since Congress and the courts have been corrupted. I'm getting my tar, feathers and pitchforks ready.

And I'll take you up on your challenge. Only problem might be if I get dragged off to the gulag before then. :)

I’ve posted something like the following about 10-15 times on several threads, but it usually gets ignored. I hate Rush saying this, because, he usually is right...here’s what I’ve posted many times:

One has to ask why is Hillary being eliminated by 0Oblama...

Is it fair to posit that he wants to create a scenario where the nation needs him to stay on?

No constitution.

He’ll even conclude Warren isn’t qualified...remember lying when Muzlum is fine.

Why would he obey the constitution and step down?

If he doesn’t, why do we think Boehner and McConnell would force him to...haha that’s a good one. Our military leaders? How many has he fired?

Sec-service abandon him? Doubtful...I’d wager those on post are the ones left and loyal to his cause that’s why they keep purposefully making the Whitehouse security look weak because it makes the US look weak.

He ain’t stepping down folks. Too much to do and too much needing control and too much left to take from us and rightfully give to the invaders.

Republican contender you say? Remember how hard McCain tried to win? Really? Big socialist corporatist fascist money pushes Bush because he’s Romney he’s McCain...same guy same loss...

I hope I’m wrong but only a playful miracle can save our nation/ourselves now. Only a true conservative can win and never donate $$except to direct candidates who are proven to never sell out to GOPe-ers.

Why would be believe he’d obey the constitution now?

Pray hard.

Why not discuss the implications of gravity suddenly reversing polarity - pushing up instead of pulling down. Why does Rush waste his time on this sort of nonsense. And I say that as a former loyal Rush fan who gave it up to avoid death from a severe case of Aggravated Boredom.
