I think we tried this once before and it backfired-against the Japanese!

Two years, then Putin would be in real trouble.

Btw - two years is what Putin predicted till improvement with the economy.

The fall in the crude oil prices hurt the Russian economy far worse than the sanctions. The oil prices is the fundamental problem which Mr. Putin has failed to resolve in 15 years.

The sanctions following the acquisition of the Crimea populated with ethnic Russians, who have been generally happy of this, is a good explanation of the economic hardship. Suffering becomes justified with this.

The economy will rise again sooner or later, but years of hardship will bring a gain.

Westerners by and large do not understand the ability of russians to withstand pain.

For being “devastatingly effective” they haven’t budged the Russians an inch.

How Much More Economic Pain Can Vladimir Putin Take?

Why distract us with another 3rd world dictator when we have one at home?

Yea, it’s really hurting Putin.. So much so that he’s able to openly assassinate his opponents while flying on state owned jets selling weapons to Egypt and Syria. He’s still running rings around Lurch and Barry while Hillary hires a stadium filled with lawyers and media mouthpieces to cover-up her misdeeds.

I doubt Putin feels any economic pain.

Unfortunately Putin is at 85% approval and IS STILL making military spending his TOP PRIORITY.

At this rate, we’ll be lucky to hold Britain.
