Keith Olbermann returned to ESPN tonight after a short suspension for a tweet last week that looked like he was being insensitive to Penn State students who raised millions to fight pediatric cancer.
Olbermann likened Twitter to batting practice, where people are so eager to be one of those screaming baseballs flinging themselves at something outrageous without looking at the context.
But he didnt excuse himself in all this, saying, I was not a victim here. I brought this on myself. This is my fault.
Olbermann saw a tweet from a Penn State fan, and didnt know there was a link within to the money raised to fight cancer, and tweeted pitiful back. He defended himself in subsequent tweets in rather strong terms, including this:
Olbermann talked about what hes done for charity before again apologizing for the tweets, which he classified as stupid and immature.
Watch the video below, via ESPN:
“stupid tweets”
Which ones would that be? I don’t think I’ve ever heard him say anything intelligent.
That’s why they call it BSPN.
And we should care because .....?
Keith Olberman - Espn’s very own screaming baseball.
Did I miss something?
I thought ESPN fired Keith Olbermann over a decade ago.
Or is this an old story being recycled?
He actually does a pretty good job of summing himself up:
“which he classified as stupid and immature.”
Send him over to ISIS and let his head roll!!
So what does it take for them to fire this idiot, for good? This just shows that he is saying the things they want him to say.
Who can forget the time the tweet twit got sacked from his job as talking meathead for MSNBC.
If douchbags had a country, Keef would be their Fuehrer.
Wait for the punch line: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Fu6uBHl0hE
Olbermann is a real head case.
There is definitely something wrong there.

Rat farts! .... Reactivate Olbermann.”
That’s the best Hitler meltdown I’ve seen in a long while,
dankeschoen!
I actually believe that KO didn’t read the link about the Penn State fundraiser for pediatric cancer before going on his tirade. For that matter, it appears the Penn State students were under that impression, too. The students pointed out the success of the fundraiser to KO. At that point, KO should have backed down, congratulated the students’ efforts, and pledged $500 to the cause. Instead, KO “acted stupidly” and belittled the students’ hard work and continued with his anti Penn State rant.
Ratings: The previous Tuesday 2/17/15 Olbermann brought just 106,000 viewers. Sans-Keith (w/ Adnam Virk): 398,000.
My pleasure — and that was exactly my thought, too — I was LOL by the end. Best Hitler video in a while. Glad you enjoyed!
