If it was a headscarf and not covering her face, it's ridiculous to ask her to remove her covering ...

If it was a Mennonite women or Amish women with a head covering on, would the same standard be applied..

I somehow doubt it...

She wasn't part of the case...just a mother...

Are any of these head coverings required by their religion...

Everytime I see that specific pic I’m reminded of a phone call recording I heard about 12 years ago of a guy stuck in the tower calling for help. He sounded nervous as hell...

Yup,I've heard that call on youtube.His tone varied from nervous to despondent to pleading to angry.One thing that occurred to me when listening to this call...and others...is how much did the people trapped in the towers know about what happened and the scale of,and the difficulties of,the rescue operations.

Just listened to the call again.At one point he asks the operator "what the hell happened?"

I wouldn't be at all surprised if at least some of the trapped people didn't have the first clue what was going on...not that knowing would have made it any easier for them.

Wow that's on Youtube? I have to look that up. I remember another one where this girl was talking about the floor being very hot and she ended up dying as well. Yeah I wondered about that, they probably thought it was a bomb like the last one in 1993 that Bill Clinton completely ignored. I almost died on Sept.11th in the WTC. At the time I was working for Poland Spring water in Brooklyn and was an assistant on a route in the WTC and for some reason the guy who did that route didn't need me that day so I worked in the warehouse. He said he was on the 90th floor and he forgot something in his truck so he took the elevator all the way down to the basement and the first plane hit as soon as he stepped out and all this smoke came out of the shaft and he ran outside. If I was with him that day, most likely he wouldn't have gone down to the basement, or he could have told me to wait while he went and got it. One thing that really freaks me out is I know for a fact people were pushed out those windows in a panic. If you ever seen fires in nightclubs, the people panic by rushing to the exists, windows and they pile on top of each other. Same thing happened there. For example the Station night club fire in 2003, people were on top of each other by the exits....

If you look at this photo, people are on top of each other in the windows in the same way no doubt pushing people out and to their deaths..That could have been me...

I often wondered what my parents, brother, and wife would have thought if I died knowing that only 7 years later Democrats would elect a radical Muslim as President who wholeheartedly supports the same pieces of rat filth responsible for 911. I can't even begin to imagine the hell these victims families are going through with this Obama, just that he would show more respect towards Bin-Laden than the victims families would be enough to drive me over the edge. That he would "bury him at sea in accordance with Islamic law" and refuse to show ANY evidence of his death to bring even an ounce of closure to the victims families is about as low as it gets.

She never even made it into the courtroom wearing the head scarf until the bailiff handcuffed her at the metal detector for saying the rule was bullshit and hauled her into see the judge.

We do not currently allow gay marriage in Georgia but I hear they are coming for us next.
