I believe judges do indeed generally have their own discretion in the matter or religious head coverings, but obviously must be mindful of the consequences.
Everytime I see that specific pic I’m reminded of a phone call recording I heard about 12 years ago of a guy stuck in the tower calling for help. He sounded nervous as hell, understandably saying “When is help getting here, it doesn’t sound like anybody is coming. I’m too young to die, it doesn’t feel like anybody is coming I don’t want to die” and then you hear this rumbling in the background and this bloodcurling scream. It was him getting crushed to death as the tower collapsed. Somehow the phone lines held together long enough where you could hear it. And thousands of people went through the same thing. Let us never forget despite how much liberals try to make us.
If these women want to play the part of agent provocateur, then they should expect to pay the price when their plan goes horribly wrong in enemy territory.
Good for the judge. Anytime CAIR has their rags in a wad, it is a good sign.

Hooper of the Council on American-Islamic Relations said the matter does not merely affect Muslims.
“What if you’re a Jewish man wearing a skull cap? What if you’re a Catholic nun wearing a habit?” Hooper asked. “All would be denied access to this judge’s courtroom. We need to know what’s going here and why this has apparently been going on for so long.”
No sympathy here, CAIR wouldn’t care about the Jew or the nun. Sheesh.
Granted, I am an old timer, but I remember an era when a well dressed woman would not dare leave home without some form of cover on her head. Understandably, the judge can and should order the face to be uncovered, but removal of a woman’s scarf? I respectfully disagree.

This is true. However, this judge ought not to make clothing recommendations. The onus is on the women to keep their hair under wraps, and there are many ways to do so. I hope the justice first made some recommendations.
Not sure what the judge would demand, but the nuns of my day would have responded with a steel ruler across the knuckles - and that was just for not doing your homework !

That picture makes me absolutely cringe whenever I see it. But I know I have to look at it to keep the horror of that atrocity fresh in my mind.
It’s really galling to hear that Muslimah call on the U.S. Constitution, which Muslims denigrate because it’s “man made” & not Shariah.

No, no covered heads in the courtroom for everyone. Hooper’s “position” is that it’s okay for Muslims to wear the offensive and sexist scarves in a public courtroom, the hell with separation of mosque and state.
