I have had the honor of meeting and spending time with Dr. Ravi Zacharias. He is incredibly brilliant, yet very humble in private. He is sweet and gracious to all around him, and he loves Jesus Christ. God has richly gifted him with intellect and the power of speech. In my opinion, he is one of the most awesome people walking the planet today.

Thanks for posting that clip. That was great to watch. Amazing to see and hear someone running on all cylinders. Obviously (like he said) he anticipated many of the questions - but pulling from events that happened years ago (Steven Hawkings' talk in 1990), and pulling appropriate quotes from his hand held device - and synthesizing it all in his responses, just leaves me shaking my head. Ravi's quite a blessing from the Lord.

Yes. Too many Christians today think they are being more spiritual by leaving the mind part out of the admonition, “And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength”.

Absolutely. I belonged to a church for a while that gradually felt wrong to me. I began to realize it is run on emotions. That’s only half of the equation.
