The one who takes the hardest line is Santorum. But, realistically, I don’t think that taking children who came here as infants, who don’t know Spanish, and sending them back to what would be to them a foreign country with a foreign language would fly with the general public. Just my opinion. That doesn’t mean that they should be granted citizenship or allowed to vote, but I don’t think that deporting them will go over well. Their parents who brought them here...that’s a different question.

I think he fumbled this one, just a bit, by saying too much. If he’d have stopped at “I don’t know,” he’d have been better off.
Still, the desperation of the Left in going after him with such weak attempts is a pretty good indication how much they want to take him down. So far, their efforts seem to be making him stronger.
If the MSM had any honesty or objectivity, they would ask Obama this question: “Are you muslim, or have you rejected islam?”
If they had any objectivity and common sense, they’d not only ask the question, but they’d be wondering what the real truth is.

Good observation. If he screws up, we’ll hear about it nonstop for a week or longer. So far, so good, and in the bargain the reporters asking the questions are starting to look more and more like the Dem water bearers that they are.
It sounds to me like you either modify your expectations or you stay home on election day. Face it, no candidate is going to support deporting 100% of those now here illegally. Not one single one.
And allowing just one illegal to stay here is amnesty, so there will not be a single “No Amnesty” candidate on the ballot.
Start dealing with reality and set some realistic expectations as to what will, and should, be done.
I’m sorry. I cannot accept your premise. I do not accept breaking the law...especially for those who knowingly came here illegally. Period. If that means I do not have a candidate to vote for...so be it.

F. are adults who arrived within the last two years whether working now or not?
G. are adult college students who were brought here as children and graduated from high schools here?
H. Are working adults who came here as children and have married a citizen?
I. Are working adults who have worked here more than five years and have no intention of voting here, becoming citizens, or staying long term, but are here only to work?

Note that I’m saying nothing about awarding citizenship here. The question is should they be deported or allowed to remain with green cards issued to them in lieu of deportation?

I’m a Walker guy, and I expect that he is going to come out with a position paper on the illegals problem that will satisfy nearly every conservative.
I also expect it to exceed the Cruz position as described in my earlier post.
