Evidently, some crimes need not be prosecuted. If I were a cynic, I might say that the homeless guy who confessed to the arson wasn't the "right kind" of perp. Now if left-wing fantasies had been true and the perp was a Tea Party type, does anyone seriously think there would be calls to drop the charges?
If you're a politically correct perp, the charges need to be dropped. If you're a Republican like Rick Perry, we'll indict you for something that isn't even illegal.

Let me guess. They hired the homeless guy to set fire to the place so they could reap some sympathy and/or insurance money and now that he’s been arrested they’re getting hinky and think he might spill the beans.

In Pakistan they wouldn’t have to play this game.
They would forgive him and kill him.

I thought insurance was haram for muslims. I'm guessing paying for it is. Collecting it could be another issue entirely! :)

"We always preach forgiveness," said Ahsan Zahid, assistant imam at the Quba Islamic Institute. "Our God is forgiving. Our prophet was always forgiving, and God tells us we should do as we expected to be treated by others. We should forgive, and that is the request we made." They should charge Zahid with arson for setting his own pants on fire with that collection of lies.

This is evidence that Ashan Zahid doesn’t fully comprehend how the American justice system works. The crime is not be prosecuted on his behalf. The state will prosecute Ferguson on behalf of all law-abiding Texans.

Not true.I can think of 21 Egyptians who were not forgiven
for being Coptic Christians. So “WE” do not ALWAYS preach forgiveness.
I hope the accused is not prosecuted and gets to exercise his hobby again.

Anyone else suspect this alleged “homeless” man may have been involved beyond just the ‘arson’ with such forgiving members of this mosque? These masters of deception have been caught damaging their own establishments, more often than not, in repeated failed attempts at building false cases of Islamophobia. A homeless man’s services can be bargained for...no?

I had to check for “humor”, “satire” in topics/keywords even though it wasn’t posted adjacent the title as per the new FR rules. This Imam lies just like Obama.

Like lightning rods, Allah will surely strike the churches and synagogues of the infidels, but we’ll put one up anyway in case He’s having a bad day.
And regardless of all the righteous ululating, you know they want to toss the arsonist in a metal cage and burn him alive.
Yeah, we’ve gotten to know these primitives a lot better than we would have liked since the turn of the century.

Maybe the Muslims were concerned a Texas jury wouldn’t convict the guy.
