There was a similar scene in the movie “Soul Men”.
Never heard of a guy named Grace.
No, ground rule double. A home run would have killed him.
Boyfriend’s mom beats man for beating her son
Man’s uncles beats woman for beating his nephew.
Woman’s cousin beats uncle for beating his cousin.
etc
At least he wasn’t a named “Sue”
Wow, he broke a bat over that guys head!!???
No further comment.
Been there, done that...news-wise that is?
“Police say Morris hit the 31-year-old so hard that the bat split in two.”
They guy is probably lucky the bat broke on the first swing.
Grace is his last name. Courtenay is his first, not much better!
Could be worse. This one shot the offending piece of garbage.

I know fathers who would have just shot the guy.
I knew a guy thirty years ago whom last I heard about was in jail for life sentence for killing his daughter’s husband. The daughter’s husband was beating her regularly, and when my acquaintance found out what was happening he warned the guy if he ever found him beating the daughter again he’d kill him. The guy did, and the acquaintance did.
The guy I knew was one of the nicest guys you’d ever want to meet. NOT the type of guy you’d think would kill someone. Damned shame he ended up in such a position that he felt he had to kill the SOB for harming his daughter. I’d have found some other way to put the guy out of my daughter’s misery, but he chose to make it absolutely permanent, and is paying the price. Shame.
Never have the trademark facing the direction of the target.
Wow! Interesting, but sad story. You just never know what will make a normal person snap. It’s a shame that situation had to happen, and it brought that out.
Woman cheats, boyfriend beats... father beats... and the courts collect fines.
These people are actually DOING something to keep taxes down!
See post 13.
No charges yet and I’m betting there won’t be any.

Why did he have to hit him in the head right off?
Couldn’t Morris have given the ‘victim’ a ‘warning tap’ first?
Or hit him in the leg, instead of the head?
