Obama: 'People Committed Terrible Deeds In The Name Of Christ'

President Barack Obama wants Christians to know Islam is not the only religion that has inspired violence and terror.

"Unless we get on our high horse and think this is unique to some other place, remember that during the crusades and the inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ," Obama said Wednesday. "And in our home country, slavery, and Jim Crow, all too often was justified in the name of Christ."

Obama made the comments while giving a major speech on religion at the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington. Citing Islamic, Jewish, and Christian scripture, Obama touted his own faith.

"This prayer tradition has brought us together, giving us the opportunity to come together in humility before the Almighty and to be reminded of what it is that we share as children of God. And certainly for me this is always a chance to reflect on my own faith journey," he said. "No matter the challenge He has been there for all of us. He certainly strengthened me through the power of his spirit."

Actually, the Crusades were a reaction to the Islamic extremists of the day. If they were extremists, so is Obama for drone-hits against jihadists.

Obama is a sociopath, and Islamic apologist, and as far as i can tell, a closet jihadist himself.

Yes he is drawing an equivalence between Muslim terror today, and what happened in medieval Europe. That’s exactly what he is saying. And he is saying we can’t condemn Muslim terror because of what happened in medieval Europe centuries ago.

The ole Oke Doke. Liberal moral equivalence. The west should therefore, be forever paralyzed.

What will it take for him to care and fight back? Or are they just to happy destroying the world because of the evil white man and his country?

Worse, this guy is a direct reflection of half of the American public. Yeah, he’s a huge problem. Bigger, are the 150 million brain dead citizens. They won’t be gone in 2 years.

This is the disease of the Left

Rejection and contempt for western civilization

And veneration of anything non White

It’s made us easy targets

A content giant with Lilliputian wounds starting to leak en masse

This stuff is pure mental illness wrapped in jealousy and resentment of the most advanced cultures history ever saw

The bastard-in-chief isn’t content to blame us for Jim Crow. He also has to blame us for the Inquisition.

He only represents a bit over half of those who voted. About 20% of the population

The Sophist in Chief’s favorite rhetorical fallacy, the Tu Quoque argument. “You did it, too!”

Shows whose side he’s on.

For Lord Foul and other muslims?, NEVER. Perhaps our resident should stay away from things he lacks knowledge in, but then all he could discourse on would be bathhouse sex. The obvious distinction for anyone that wishes to use his argument, which they refuse to accept, is that Christians grew and evolved away from such violence while the muslims are still living in 600 AD and will never evolve from their pedophilia and violence.

The Crusades were a counter offensive after 3 1/2 centuries of Islamic expansion. An effort to retake the geographic See of Christendom which had been taken by assault. Medieval Christians did spread Christianity by the sword. Charlemagne’s
war with the Saxons is a good example . But Christianity’s early spread was done in the face of violence not by violence. By the time of Mohammed the Mediterranean world had become Christian without the sword.Nestorian Christianity spread as far as China. Christianity, Coptic, Chaldean, Orthodox, or Roman succumbed to Muslim arms not the superiority of faith.

Tu quoque logical fallacy. But that’s just one of many. The left responds to logic like a vampire to a cross.

Oh, good gravy. He’s playing that card?

I didn’t think my contempt of this pathetic creature could increase. But, somehow it has.

So bringing up things that happened seven hundred years ago is relevant today? Society has changed. Islam has not. It’s still living in the 7th. century.

http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/just-34-percent-americans-know-obama

I cannot figure out why only 34% of Americans can correctly identify Obama as a Christian. We have been told many times that he is a Christian, and Obama himself claimed to be Christian (after being corrected for an accidental reference to “my Muslim faith”). We cannot allow little things like Obama’s persecution of Christians and his habit of belittling our faith to affect our understanding that he is a Christian too, just one who doesn’t think there is anything good in the Bible, in Christian churches, or in Christians.

Christ taught us to love our neighbor. Muhammad taught his followers to behead infidels.

He claims these were done in the name of Christ, but denys all acts claimed in the name of allah. And while he claims these acts were done in the name of Christ, he does not point out any specific passage that has Christ actually advocating Jim Crow, or whatever.

And if you look around they’re growing exponentially.

This type of thinking & rhetoric causes holocausts. He did more than just do a shot across the bow on Christians with that statement.
