MEMO TO JEB BUSH:  Instead of getting that degree in Latin American affairs, you might have been wise to get a degree in AMERICAN HISTORY!  Since you're obviously so fond of Latin America, perhaps there's an elective office waiting for you somewhere in Latin America? Oh wait, THEY have very rigid CITIZENSHIP and RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS down there.

In fact, your wife's home country (that'd be MEXICO) has a heavily defended FENCE across its SOUTHERN BORDER!

never mind

And I suggest that you other alleged Republicans read the thoughts of several of the Founding Fathers before the next election.

Jeb is working hard to alienate conservatives, and accommodate illegal aliens. That means he will lose, even if he manages to win the nomination. It’s a dumbass move by a dumbass who has spent far more time worrying about illegals than he has about American citizens. It’s probably all he and his wife talk about.

(Who May Qualify for H-2B Classification?)

To qualify for H-2B nonimmigrant classification, the petitioner must establish that:
There are not enough U.S. workers who are able, willing, qualified, and available to do the temporary work.
The employment of H-2B workers will not adversely affect the wages and working conditions of similarly employed U.S. workers.
Its need for the prospective worker’s services or labor is temporary, regardless of whether the underlying job can be described as temporary. The employer’s need is considered temporary if it is
a(n): one-time occurrence – A petitioner claiming a one-time occurrence must show that it has:
Not employed workers to perform the service or labor in the past, and will not need workers to perform the services or labor in the future; or
An employment situation that is otherwise permanent, but a temporary event of short duration has created the need for a temporary worker.

or...
seasonal need – A petitioner claiming a seasonal need must show that the service or labor for which it seeks workers is:...
Traditionally tied to a season of the year by an event or pattern; and...
Of a recurring nature.

Note: Employment is not seasonal if the period during which the service or labor is needed is: (much more)

Reasonable, however, if you can't speak or read English... a quagmire of Beaureatric bs

Restore the thirty or 40 millions jobs obama has destroyed - and give them back to Americans. Then we can talk about giving more jobs to more immigrants. Only then.

Com on, America! Let's squander another Presidential election!

Good point, so why are we only hearing about what the Old Guard Republicans want or who the Media knows will sell papers like Clinton or Warren. The Republican field is crowded with mostly excellent choises...some names are recognizable others like Carly Fiorina, a classy dame with a real brain....unlike 'ya know, Clinton or ancestry-challenged Liz Warren. I'll be danged if I am going to let the pundits or the MSM tell me who should or should not run or who or who hasn't a chance.............

How about we get rid of most of our welfare, food stamps, disability, and the myriads of other payoffs for our own indolent class which would rather hang around and watch their big screens and sell drugs than work? Then we wouldn't need millions of immigrants to do the work that "American's won't do"!

As an added benefit, we will save hundreds of billions a year and balance our budget in the process.

On the other hand, politicians would no longer so easily buy votes with our money so it won't happen.

Carry on, Jebster! Your plan is right in line with the rest of Washington!!

Globalist Jeb Bush is trying to flood our country with illegal immigrants in order to drive wages down and to stay in power.

Jeb Bush may or may not be a globalist, I have no Idea. He did not seem to be one when he was Gov of Florida.

What all of our Politicians are trying to do is address our massive demographic hole in the entitlement system due to retiring baby boomers and the fact that Democrats have manufactured a group of permanent welfare underclass totally and fundamentally unable to hold a job or function in society.

In 1935 there 65 workers supporting one Social Security recipient and the Federal Government had virtually zero welfare or medicare obligations. Furthermore, the number of public sector workers was very small compared to what they are now.

Despite the fact that that we have not really seen the start of the baby boom generation retiring in any great numbers, in 2010 there were 1.75 Full Time Private Sector workers paying into the system for each Social Security recipient.

In a few years time, if things stay the same, there will be less than 1 1.75 Full Time Private Sector workers paying into the system for each Social Security recipient. which is obviously unsustainable.

We are currently papering over this Social Security deficit by borrowing 47 cents of every dollar of Federal Spending to hide the negative red ink.

There are four options.

1) Cut Benefits

2) Extend the age at which retirees can start reaching Social Security from 60 to around 72 years of age.

3) Raise Taxes Massively

4) Increase the population of the country by importing young, productive workers to support the Retirees and the welfare cripples.

Options 1 and 2 are not politically viable.

Option 3 is not viable because we are already taxed so heavily that increasing the tax burden actually reduces the the total tax revenues collected by the federal government.

So 4 is our only option.

In fact, illegal immigration is de facto back door Social Security and entitlement reform. It's just very inefficient because bringing illiterate and unskilled workers from Third World countries is not going to help the economy very much.

What we really need is a massive infusion of highly skilled, highly motivated, highly educated entrepreneurial and productive young workers to create the right demographic balance to to grow the economy to provide good paying jobs for all of the illegal aliens

The fact is there are job shortages for top level positions and with the baby boom generation retiring there will be major job shortages in the next ten years if we do not import younger workers or keep over workers working into their 70’s

Let me get this straight. In order to foster “growth” we must let illegal alien invaders enter the country and take away American jobs, because they will take less pay and benefits. Or something like that.
That sound about right?

“others like Carly Fiorina, a classy dame with a real brain...”

You missed he boat on that one. She was the CEO at HP that over saw the destruction of the company. She would be worse than Clinton. Absolutely poison, stay away from her.

Unlike the founders who walked freely among the employees and enforced an “open door” policy, this woman had (and needed) five full time bodyguards to wander the halls.

Yes, I’ve met all of them personally up through Fiorina.
