Michael Schiavo and Jeb Bush can hold hands...

....

Yet Michael Schiavo seems to have a major problem with how Jeb stood in his way.

If that’s what happened it had the opposite effect - it convinced me he underestimates his opposition.

He also let the original letter regarding Terri sit on his desk for months, maybe years.

Article One, Section 2 of the Florida Constitution and the Fifth and the Fourteenth Amendments of the U.S. Constitution explicitly and imperatively require the equal protection of the right to life of every innocent person.

The feds nor the state can enact a law that deprives a person of that right...neither did.

I'm sure he does.
And I have a major problem with how Jeb failed under pressure.
Politics over principle.
He should have remained out of the public view.

Looks like Jeb Bush is not quite as generally well respected as some people are currently proclaiming.

To quote Sir Winston Churchill:

"Sometimes doing your best is not good enough. You must do what is required."

For whatever reason-Jeb decided that letting Terri be slowly tortured and murdered by dehydration, in front of her parents was ok, and not his problem. It's why I can't support him if he runs.

Jeb allowed Terri's Constitutional rights to be violated as Eternal Vigilance points out in post 86. This was clearly wrong, but not my only issue with Jeb Bush.

Another problem I have is that, as far as I know, Jeb never went to see Terri himself. He didn't want to know what was really going on. He didn't want the truth.

First clue something wicked was going on- was when all picture and camera and recording device bans and threats were put in place. One has to ask- Why? Obviously she must have been responding (see post 78)-but evil incarnate husband made sure no one else could see it.

Jeb never bothered to check on this for himself. It's like he didn't want to know. Maybe if he had been visiting her, it would have given him the courage to do what was required, and save her life.

Further proof that he needed to do whatever it took to save her is that even Pope John Paul II was saying that dehydrating someone to death is wrong. (Jeb is supposedly Catholic?) But it didn't matter to him.

However-because he wants to further his political ambitions, I'm betting he will release a "shocking" statement to the press sometime in the future

FWIW-I give it 2-1 odds that JB will, at some point, say that he made a mistake, that he should have stopped the dehydration death of Terri Schindler, and ironically, he'll be doing this for the exact same reason he didn't stop it in the first place.

Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe he's a great guy, but, because of his handling of Terri's plight, (and without even getting into his support for Common Core and many other issues), I just can't vote for him, period.

So, insanity against humanity, is your defense of jeb? Jeb’s side won, and Terri was murdered. Apparently, people are that stupid, to deny what jeb-boy did- as a future run position, for president of the united morons of a specific region/country/corporation of the global government. You are a winner, to say the least. Well done, citizen!

Mike is a certifiable psycho. The way I remember it Jeb Bush got the hell out of Mikie’s way so that he could murder his comatose (or whatever) wife. Vegetative....whatever it was.

Of course Jeb put up a phobry face of concern for PR reasons but he never lifted a finger for the Schindler family that wanted to care for their daughter. Mike Shciavo could not risk this, risk Terry waking up and saying Mike tried to kill her

Because they’re cowards who won’t keep their own oaths to support and defend the Constitution.

He didn’t have to be God. All he had to do was fulfill his own oath as the top law enforcement officer in the State of Florida.

He swore an oath to uphold the state and federal constitutions, not to lick the boots of some tinpot probate judge who was judicially torturing a helpless innocent woman to death.

Really? So the whole world just imagined that Terri was dehydrated to death?

This is what you said :
Jeb’s side won, and Terri was murdered.

This is what I said:
There was huge fight in the courts which is where this was fought and the side Jeb Bush was on lost.

Do you notice a difference?

I notice a difference. RedHeeler Is holding Jeb responsible for Jeb’s actions. Woofie is campaigning for Jeb on the platform of Jeb having washed his hands while declaring himself innocent of the blood of Terri Schiavo.

Jeb can never wash Terri’s blood from his hands, and his groupies can’t do it for him.

People here wanted Jeb Bush to do exactly what Obama is doing now ...I say no to anyone ruling outside the law no matter who it is.

So i think Jeb pushed as far as he could and lost and as far as this case was concerned Obama is ruling by fiat and we all lose because of it

There is a higher law upon which human law is based. When our law produces an inhumane ruling it must be rejected or the foundation of law is destroyed.

What should he have done?

He should have done what he promised to do, get her out of that Scientology hellhole and into a nursing home that would have provided care for the girl. The state police could have done that simply and easily. I was there. It was a circus. Thousands were camped on the streets demanding Terry's release from that prison.

The direct influence of the Church of Scientology has not been discussed here. Greer and Schaivo were members of that cult. Under the rubric of that demonic cult Terry was considered a useless feeder and unworthy to live. The nursing home was owned by the cult. Clearwater, where the nursing home is located, is their world headquarters. This was a cult murder in which the Bush boys, in the final analysis, were complicit.

If I recall correctly they, including the judge, threatened a priest with arrest when he wanted to give her last rites.

To bad Cardinal O'Connor was not in Florida. That would have been quite a site. Cardinal O'Connor taken away in handcuffs.

I have often wondered why there was not substantial civil disobedience during the events a tt he nursing home. The attitude of the people in the street was that prayer and vigil were what was required. in a moral society perhaps. In a society practicing the murder of innocents not so much.
