Greece's government will not cooperate with the EU and IMF mission bankrolling the country and will not seek an extension to the bailout program, its finance minister said on Friday.

Jeroen Dijsselbloem, head of the euro zone finance ministers' group who is in Athens for talks with the new government, said the two sides would decide what would happen next before the program ends on Feb. 28.

Greece basically telling the EU bankers and IMF to go pound sand...

There was some interesting video imagery coming out of this meeting.

They can tell them to pound sand, but that won’t put money in the coffers.

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money. - Margaret Thatcher

I’m still trying to work out who the bigger statists and socialists are

The Greek Communists who have just been elected there, or the EU statist control-freaks in Brussels and their money-printing ECB.

“They can tell them to pound sand, but that won’t put money in the coffers.”

What “money”? 50 billion per month in wheelbarrow QE EU bond buying “money’?

The Greeks think they owe the banks so much money that they don’t have a problem, the banks do.

The EU banks just need to take their haircut and write off Greece. And the Greeks, for thier own long-term good, need to be written off.

I hope Greece defaults on the loans, and drops out of the EU.

Let those socialist/communist morons that elected their government starve to death. They can serve as an example of how stupid liberals are.

They can go on an olive diet, and wonder why their stores are empty because nobody will sell them anything.

With the entire country on a diet of nothing but olives and sardines the smell will be horrendous. Enjoy it you libtards!

Greece declares jihad against its creditors.

Everybody loses, what a surprise.

Actually, this may the quickest way back to relative normalcy for Greece.

Time to lay in some popcorn.

******************************************************************************************************
They should have written off these debts long ago instead of playing the sucker’s game of “advance them many more billions then they’ll be willing and able to pay us back”. The Greeks will continue playing their game of looking for advancement of more EURO money from the nothern Europe EU members and the EU may be stupid enough to do it.

Meanwhile the taxpayers and bank depositors in Germany and other countries are getting more and more tired of being bled. THIS WILL NOT END WELL.

I looks nice! For the past few years, I’ve been going to Crete on holiday. I like Crete, but now its time to explore some of the other islands!
