The boy held a knife to a fourth-grade girl’s leg, the child told KTLA Tuesday, adding that he said “If you snitch, you get stitches.” The girl’s mother first brought the story to KTLA’s attention.
The girl’s mother said she was not satisfied with an in-school suspension that she was given to the unidentified boy. Her daughter missed nine days of school after the Jan. 9 incident, she said.

Boys often don’t get a second chance to show they have self control. They are quickly disposed of like a malfunctioning robot. Not always, but in this case, I think they were hasty in expelling him unless the child has past incidents of doing the same thing to other kids.
I actually don’t have a problem with this one if it is as described. Playing with a knife is one thing, threatening your classmates with it is another.
That was an assault with a deadly weapon. You don’t think he should be expelled? Are you a liberal?
Listen to Mom and you know about the boy. He doesn’t just pick up “snitches get stitches” in geography class. Mama, you’re not raising a “good boy”, you’re raising a banger, and in your heart you know it.
And the girl? Absent 9 days because of it? I can understand that if the boy was still there, but he’d been expelled.
We are raising a nation of punks and over sensitive drama queens.
Lee, Threatening to beat the tar out of someone should behavior not change might be “boys being boys”. Touching a knice to someones leg and threatening to stab them while stating “Snitches get stiches” is something out of a prison movie.
That kid might be at the beginning of a long road to either the bighouse or in for a dirt nap.

At my sons high school today they caught a kid who had snapped an up skirt pic of a hot 20 something teacher
He’s in big trouble and the boys he texted it to are getting in school suspension
The boy who took the pic may get a sex offender charge.....my gut instinct not knowing everything tells me that’s a bit harsh
She was wearing underwear....a thong I hear...he snapped it on his phone when she bent over at the desk in front of him

Unless there's more to it, there's something wrong with that.
My son had an issue last year (also in Franklin) where a girl in his class would take a picture of him every day and post it on snap chat to her buddies. After this went on for several weeks, I finally talked to the guidance counselor and the girl got some sort of discipline (they wouldn’t tell me what) because it was a violation of his privacy. It was enough that the girl was really ticked.
Except for airtravel, I’ve carried a pocketknife since I was a cub scout. I’ve never threatened anyone with a knife. This boy is trouble.
The teacher was rather foolish to allow her self to be ‘exposed’ like that...a short enough dress that reveals a thong when she bends over a desk... in front of teen boys? Seriously? The teacher wasn’t showing good judgment as well!

The Trace was the only place I would take my son to learn to drive..... I’m the nervous nellie type. 8-)
