This is one of those odd Obama moments the mainstream media is almost certain to ignore — a moment that some in the Obama-supporting press will see as trivial, while others might consider it too hot to touch.
The Washington Times reports that during a speech in New Delhi, India, President Obama himself — without any questioning or prompting — raised the issue of whether he is secretly a Muslim and not a Christian.
Obama was speaking on the subject of religious inclusion and equality: “…the president said India must learn to treat both women and religious minorities equally. India is nearly 80 percent Hindu but also has significant Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist and Christian populations.”
To make his message more personal, the Times article notes that Obama cited for his audience examples from his own life: “There have been times where my faith has at times been questioned by people who don’t know me, or they’ve said that I adhere to a different religion, as if that were somehow a bad thing.”
One should note that, interestingly, Obama did not deny that he adheres “to a different religion” — in other words, not Christianity — he only suggested that, if he were not a Christian, that wouldn’t be a bad thing.
The subject of Barack Obama’s ties to the Muslim faith and the tenets of Islam has long been a topic of both hushed discussion as well as howling debate.
An August 2014 post by Garth Kant at wnd.com highlights the revelations of a former CIA official, Clare Lopez, about the significant changes in policy toward radical Islam and jihad during the Obama administration.
…Lopez believed the Muslim Brotherhood has thoroughly infiltrated the Obama administration and other branches of the federal government.
She also came to the conclusion Obama had essentially the same goals in the Mideast as the late Osama bin Laden: “to remove American power and influence, including military forces, from Islamic lands.”
This former government intelligence expert who spent two decades as a CIA field operations officer went on to tell WND that the Muslim Brotherhood has made significant inroads into the federal government, thanks to Barack Obama.
…Lopez described the stunning extent of infiltration of the administration and other branches of the federal government by the jihadist group the Muslim Brotherhood.
She said the infiltration began under former President Bill Clinton but really took hold under the Obama administration, which, she said, “includes various levels of understanding and misunderstanding of Islam and the Muslim Brotherhood.”
It is this sort of warning from Clare Lopez and others who were, or still are, in the federal government that raises doubts in the minds of many Americans about President Obama’s religious faith.
There is not much in his words that reveals who he is. Look instead at his actions. Everything he does is against Christians and Jews and for the screaming jihadis who hate Christians and Jews.
I don't know about anyone else, but to my mind I'd think that worst personal sin a Muslim could commit, even with the subversive dispensations they are granted for Jihad, would be to DENY their faith. Divert, obfuscate, confuse and deny are all on the table - but LYING directly to me would be that act of religious treason. As far as I am concerned, this man is a Muslim - always was, always will be. I bet they pack a prayer rug for him on Air Force One wherever he goes to golf.
And the media will not treat it as a lie long-hidden. The media will treat it as a glorious moment of tolerance, diversity, and global consciousness-raising.
Without reading the entire transcript, Obama did not say he was a Christian here. He might have meant some have questioned his Muslim faith.
I do not actually believe he is a Muslim.
He is an Anti-Christian.
The Muslims just happen to be on the same side of that conflict, so it appears that he aligns with them.
I don't think so. There is an Islamic doctrine, I believe it is called taquiyya (sp?)that allows Muslilms to lie about anything so long as the objective of the lie is to advance Islamic domination.
Two points.
1. It really matters not what we think are Øbozo’s religious views - the islamic world considers him to be an apostate - a moslem who has turned his back on his faith.
2. Øbozo obviously enjoys the controversy since he’s introduced it several times. The thing I can’t figure out is WTH does he think he’s accomplishing revealing himself as a hypocrite?

Laughable to think a spy or any other kind of hostile agent wouldn’t be allowed to lie about his religious views.
Yes, I’m aware of that. But it is difficult for a world renowned leader to accomplish that and still play both sides of the aisle. Were he to simply act as Christian (by attendance at church, in speak, or in deed, he would be precluded from convincing uncounseled Muslims throughout the world (those not directly Jihadi)that he is sympathetic. These peoples with sympathies (and inaction against) radical Islam number in the hundreds of millions. It is incumbent upon Obama to not alienate them with and outright declaration of his so-called Christian faith.
When Michelle Obama travelled to Spain in 2010, she told the Salesian community there that Barack "always carries a picture of Mary Help of Christians in his wallet". And Barack attended Santo Fransiskus Asisi, a private Catholic school for a couple of years in his childhood. If Barack Obama isn't secretly a Muslim, maybe he's a secret Catholic.
As Catholic writer Michael Sean Winters puts it, "a fundamental intellectual disposition that has served Catholic theology well through the years seems to have found its way into this man’s head..."
Yes. Obama cleverly omitted naming his "faith", twice. If it "wouldn't be a bad thing", they why not admit it? BECAUSE HE HAS LIED BEFORE ABOUT BEING A CHRISTIAN, and personally revealing his "true" Muslim faith would confirm him to be a LIAR, fraud, and possibly an enemy. Treasonous and impeachable.
And, Hillary Clinton was named for Sir Edmund Hillary of New Zealand in tribute to his climbing of Mt. Everest.
Problem is that Edmund didn’t accomplish that feat until after the bitch was born.
