[Scott] Walker adds "Iowa expert" to his political campaign team

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is adding a veteran GOP strategist and Iowa expert to his political team as the Wisconsin Republican considers a possible 2016 presidential bid.

The addition of David Polyansky gives Walker's team a big dose of Iowa experience. The strategist helped engineer former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee's win in the 2008 Iowa Republican caucuses and also served as deputy campaign manager for former Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann, who won the 2011 Iowa straw poll.

With no center poles.

How thoughtful a response from you. I suppose if you throw enough mud something will stick.

Walker’s socially conservative and a proven winner. He’s not a pseudonymous FReeper tossing mud around.

So who’s your candidate and is he/she smart enough to make the national walk to the WH?

Golly, if only we still had the American liberties of the 19th century then we’d win, no?

You are aware that the media (news, music, movies, cable, Internet, etc.) is allied against us, right?

You do realize that children are and have been indoctrinated in government schools so they’re against us as well.

You do realize that every recipient of government largesse is against us.

How do you get to 270 EV through that landmine? Everybody is going to moderate what they say. It’s called politics.

If that’s true, let’s be the poles.

They don’t allow that in their party.

I'm not interested in excuses meant to excuse the bad behavior of a potential candidate. I want conservative results, conservative behavior, conservative policy positions.

That same nonsense is the crap that the GOP-E leadership is continually feeding us.

And it is used to cover and excuse a whole lot bad behavior!!

I want conservative results, conservative behavior, conservative policy positions.

Then you want SCOTT WALKER.

But, it can't always be me, me, me. This is politics and it involves threading the needle with the mushy middle and fundraisers. It's not Reagan's America and hasn't been since GHW Bush was POTUS. Clinton came next.

The following show, in a specific sense with regards to his social conservatism, why I have problems with Walker as he moderates his positions and behavior as he ramps up for a POTUS run. He either has the wrong advisors, people like you, or he never really was the strong conservative you want everyone to believe:

Did you folks see this?

The Crony Capitalist Crowd is trying to rig it, did ya here Beck talk about it the other day?

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2015/01/22/political-insider-tells-beck-the-gop-primary-will-come-down-to-these-four-men/

Yes, they want to limit the field, and the "Final 4" would be Jeb, Mitt, Ron Paul, and The Huckster.

Barf, just Barf...

Look, I can't speak for you all but you might agree with me We want Pence, Walker or Cruz, anything else Sucks on Ice.

It is time for us to walk if they don't, I am not gonna throw up in my mouth again pulling the lever for the wife of the candidate because she'd make a better 1st lady...

I respect your opinion but Scott Walker is probably one of the smartest people in the GOP right now.
What is holding him back is the DNC power base in WI based in Madison.
Madison has ruled WI since LBJ and has no plans to retire anytime soon.

I lived for 30 years in MN and between the Scandinavian Socialists and the Union Thugs out of Chicago, I’m surprised Walker is still alive.

Actually, you misunderstood my reference to there being no center poles in your beloved “big tent.” I wasn’t talking about specific personalities, I was talking about principles.

Or he lives in reality and isn’t just a pseudonymous poster on a conservative website. It’s over. We’ve lost the round on homosexual marriage. Get used to it. It’s the Devil’s World we live in.

Once Christ comes and things are perfect...

Until then, Scott Walker is a solid conservative. He’s also, like everyone running for President, a politician. They don’t win unless they’re savvy. The SSM horse is way out of the barn.

Perhaps, I’m wrong. Just show me the political road that leads back to man/woman marriage beginning in 2015 with the 2016 Presidential election cycle. Don’t forget to include in your plans how to handle Congress and the SCOTUS, plus how you’ll get around the media’s and government schools’ indoctrination.

Take your time. I don’t expect you have a plan or will reply.

No, my FRiend, I got it. I didn’t say give up our principles, I just mean it’s a big tent and I’d rather have power and election victories than not. If you don’t win, you don’t get to play.

Exactly correct. We need to avoid these stupid fights and stop tearing down real conservatives. If we don’t we’re going to get shafted. Romney and Bush are already meeting in private to divvy things up. Rand Paul? Huckabee?

What a mess. It’s like just handing the election to Hillary.

These days, even when we “win,” we don’t get to “play.”

We’ve entered into the realm of ‘heads I win, tails you lose.’

Demonstrably false. We’re a minority, even within the GOP. Yet, we exert an enormous influence. Ted Cruz and Mike Lee’s efforts during the Sequestration were brilliant.

We got a first taste that we really don’t need all that spending. The Cromibus is proof that the GOPe and the crony capitalist are terrified of us.

We’ve got a fight on our hands, but right now Big Gov is in the toilet. Look at the polling. I talk to young people all the time and they get it. They know its a ripoff and they’re paying the bills.

We need effective conservative populist measures.

Have you ever read War of the Flea? Look it up. That’s us. We’re insurgents and it doesn’t make sense to line in rows and go head to head with the Establishment. We’ll get slaughtered that way.

It’s not false.

Let me use Iowa as an example:

Delegates to the precinct caucuses, the district caucuses, and the state convention passed a relatively conservative platform, ostensibly pro-life, pro-natural marriage, etc., and they elected members to the state GOP committee who ALL supposedly support that platform.

But what happens? The committee hires a chairman and staffers who scoff at and disregard that platform. The new spokesman for the party is a supporter of gay marriage and homosexual candidates for public office.

We supposedly overwhelmingly win a huge majority in the Congress. What happens? Straight ahead off the cliff we go.

Heads I win, tails you lose.

Sorry about your Iowa debacle. Why did you let them get away with it?

Your leap to Congress doesn’t follow. If you mean ‘we’ conservatives won, only partly. The GOP is going to, by its nature as a national party, always be more moderate than we are on average. It’s a numbers thing.

We just need to be the trim tabs. ;-]

It works. I’ve done it.
