i’d just say for that level of customization, it will cost at least $10,00,000.
these people ae just trying to file a nuisance lawsuit against a business they hate.
the solution is to offer whatever they are asking for under “custom services, deluxe packages, extra services,” etc, and set the price exorbitantly high. like in the millions. owners set their prices and can determine different levels of service.
I think anyone has the right not to make a “gay wedding” cake.
But I don’t think it’s sinful to do so, and thus I think it’s sad that some Christians are losing their businesses over their refusal to do it.
They are not losing their business because they refuse to do it, they are losing their business because the BEAST demands it.
What I mean is that they should go ahead and make the cakes. They are not the people who should be taking the bullet.
This is no abuse of the current law, it isn’t.
It is equal application of a stupid law, and I’m glad this man has the fortitude to take on a Herculean task.
Are there any beliefs that you hold so strongly that you would stand up for them in the face of possibly losing your business?
I think she’s lying, since I think she’d have a pretty good idea what it said, plus, it doesn’t make sense to include those words on a cake, without a general idea what it said.
Wait, is he the next Pope?
Yes. If the alternative is committing a sin.
“Standing up” is not a term of art in moral theology.
The question isn’t “standing up.” The question is, Is it s SIN to make a “gay wedding” cake?
A pharmacist who sells contraceptives is DIRECTLY facilitating sodomy between two people. If he sells abortifacients, he is DIRECTLY facilitating murder.
A baker who bakes a cake with two little men on top is not providing MEANS equivalent to contraceptives or abortifacients. The cake is not a necessary means for the commission of sodomy.
I don’t disagree with you; I think my original post was unclear.
Jewish people and Christians need to target homosexual and muslim businesses and set them up for equal treatment under this stupid law.
SCOTUS just ruled that a muslim can grow a beard in prison because of his religious beliefs, so how the hell can the courts rule that religious freedom can be ignored for homosexuals?
Good for the baker and anyone who speaks up against this perversion. I am sick of the crap on TV and in the media as if they are go lucky , happy, and joyful people who want to be left alone.
The homosexual woman I worked with was nothing short of disgusting. She was the typical in your face”this is my wife” Rosie o Donnell.
No one liked her and yet people had to keep quiet about her agenda for fear of being in trouble at work.
What would one of those beliefs you hold be?
I just answered that question.
I would refuse to commit a sin in order to keep my business.
“Standing up” for a belief is not always obligatory. There is no obligation to put a sign in the window saying, “No Same-Sex Wedding Cakes.” I don’t think it’s a sin to make a “same-sex wedding” cake.
It is a sin to sell contraceptives, because to do so is directly to supply the means for acts of sodomy. It is a sin to sell abortifacients, for the same reason.
I don’t know. Is the judge who murdered Terri Schiavo still on the bench?
Likely not as while a bakery refusing to create a cake saying the almighty loves sodomites would be a case, liberal bias excludes that in this case.
And while it is comparable to the Masterpiece case, for that was a request for a special creation that in art and purpose was to honor what was repulsive to the owner - and an artist should not have to create anything a customer wants - yet libs will argue this was a prank and the artwork was of a decidedly provocative nature and purpose. As if the former case was not meant to be, but then again, liberal bias is made up by conservatives.
“Just really radical stuff against gays.”

homosexuals are a race ???
Hmmmmmmmmmm
He should have asked them to write something like
ONE MAN
ONE WOMAN
MAKES A MARRIAGE
Then when they refused he would have had a case...
Does such a thing REALLY exist??
