NFL highlights of Seahawks/Packers NFC championship game.
I cant bear to watch it.
I put that game on about 6:15 Eastern to kill time waiting for the Pats game.
A memory I will keep-—I was stunned.
.
But I almost turned it off too, glad I didn't, it turned out to be, not only exciting, but the biggest comeback in NFC Conference Championship history, and it was; what a comeback!
Go Seahawks!
This year for the first day in history, all of the teams that I wanted to see in the win column, from the wild card games to yesterday.....LOST! I am simply sick! ;-)
I’m leaning more and more to the idea that NFL games are rigged by paying off a few players.
The Packers seemingly ‘packed’ it in after halftime. Dopes— they should have put the hammer down in the 2nd half and sealed the deal instead of pussy footing around. I’ve seen enough... NEXT.....
I’ll give you the summary then. The rest of the Packers except for Rodgers, cost them the game. And that MCCarthy and Dom Capers should be fired. A bunch of overrated clowns who couldn’t adjust to offense.
As the great Yogi Berra said, "It ain't over 'til it's over."
It’s amazing. They came in with incredible preparation and game plan. The team utterly dominated and stunted the Hawks offense for three quarters. That requires great coaching.
Then they utterly failed in the last quarter and half. I was just about to change my mind on Capers. After several below average years, this defense played very well in the 2nd half of this season and the playoffs. I’ve felt the game had passed him by and they need a change, but was starting to think he had started a second life with really good schemes and game plans. Now, I am back to thinking he has to go. He just can’t stop these newer offenses like the 49ers and Hawks. Yesterday, they made no adjustment when the offense finally took off.
McCarthy isn’t going anywhere. He’s just signed a long term deal, but the defense clearly needs new blood.
WHY WHY WHY didn’t Burnett try and return that 4th interception. Even though he was looking to his left, he had nothing between him and the end-zone on his right.
I don’t blame him, and I don’t blame Bostick for the muffed onside kick. The whole team played much to conservatively. They should have at least had 1 more TD from all those turnovers.
Ditto
Dom Capers has got to go! I’ve been saying this for a couple of years. The only thing new in 5 years is moving Mathews to the inside this year.
I guess he thought it was won and he did not want to get tackled and risk a fumble.
Thanks for the link. We watched both the Sea Hawks and Patriots game. It was fun:
As a Seahawks fan watching the game at home, I was dead-solid sure we were toast. When the fake field goal play succeeded, I was thinking that it was too little, too late.
When Wilson went in for the TD, I was still sure we were done. When the onside kick succeeded I started to hope, but was sure that hope would be crushed. When Marshawn ran in the the TD to put us ahead...I though I was watching another reality.
And when Wilson threw that TD bomb to Kearse...I lost my freakin’ mind.
Congratulations to the Seahawks team and fans!
That was great game!
Tommy and the Boys will be seeing you in two 2 weeks!
I shan’t be expressing anything but Condolences after that day.
heehee
IT was!
Talk about yanking defeat from the jaws of victory.
I'll say one thing about the Hicks, despite being outplayed in all aspects of the game for 3 quarters, they never gave up. Neither did the fans.
Now, they better bring a better game in 2 weeks. The Pats don't let up...ever!
Never give up...and never ever celebrate early.
