The owner of a New Jersey deli shot and killed a man who police say was attempting to rob the store at gunpoint. New Jersey has made it almost impossible for law abiding citizens to own guns and concealed weapons permits are nearly impossible to acquire. Thugs in the state are not expecting an armed response and for this would be criminal, it will be his last attempt.

Maybe they were too busy laughing at the stupidity of the attacker? I mean, this is Darwin material right there!
NOwhere in the article is the title substantiated
Wonder where he go that idea?
Fixed it. BTW, always check your assumptions carefully before robbing a deli in Newark.
Put That on a tombstone!
You thought WRONG punk!
Well he was mostly right...
What? The owner didn’t blew a whistle or pissed his britches?
No, they are supposed to throw canned goods at the bad guy with a gun.
Ha Ha! surprise, surprise. Besides, who cares if I own it? I got the gun, so now, I own you!
That sentence didn’t make sense to me either. It must be a typo, or a freudian slip.
It doesn’t sound like he threw cans of food at him either.
Doesn’t change the fact that he is still a moron for assuming that nobody in New Jersey is armed. Despite the paperwork required in Canada to get a gun, I would not go around assuming that no Canadians were armed.
You can own a gun in New Jersey but they do not make the permitting process easy. There are two gun shops within 5 miles of my house.
I never dated a woman in the South who didn’t have a pistol in her handbag. Not one.
Then the people should demand all the wealthy, politicians and the well connected should be barred for owning FA's or using armed security. Of course that will never happen.
All these punitive control laws are meant for the tax paying peons, because the brutal truth is they do not trust nor could they care less if law abiding Americans are afforded security or safety.
Same in Pennsylvania, although being experienced with guns myself, firing off .308, 12 gauge, and longbows with my wife and in-laws is fun! :)
Sniff, sniff. I just get tears in my eyes when reading a story with a happy ending.
