CORONADO, Calif. (AP) — Republican presidential prospect Ben Carson on Thursday compared the Islamic State group to American patriots willing to die for freedom.

In a speech to the Republican National Committee's winter meeting outside San Diego, the former neurosurgeon and conservative favorite praised American patriots for their willingness to give their lives for their beliefs. Then he mentioned the Islamic State group.

Lady parts will win this time. It was skin color last time.

Give it 50 years and the President will be the in vitro clamlicker spawn created from the 3 eggs of 2 lesbians married to a transsexual female-turned "male".

“...Let their Zelig Clinton, bill, Coe out and be honest and the puppets at the five swoon, as they did just two hours ago, ‘oh, what a leader , what timing’ ...”

I didn’t get that part, could you elaborate?

Lady parts won the last two time, because Obama is the biggest PU$$Y that's ever occupied the White House!

The media, the culture swoon over Clinton. He uttered one comment last night on some stupid talk show, some obvious comment about how Islam is intolerant and the Five showed the clip.

and they swooned as well. They were giggling with their new BFF, Beckel and happy days were here again.

Ted Cruz has been waxing wise for two years. Nothing but neglect and even scorn from the ‘conservative media”

It’s so far past time conservatives stop bying for approval from the culture and theose who will drop everything for the Clintons.

And BTW, the girls on the Five were wondering aloud, as the right ALWAYs does, at how the left seemed to take Clintons statement a lot better than they would if he were a conservative.

Aside from the obvious response to such ignorance, the question is, how doe these dames not know that the left does not think

They do what they are told. They think what they are told to think. ESPECIALLY by the Clintons.

It’s why they have no talk radio.

I long for the day when conservatives stop caring about them

What he actually said was this: “They [ISIS members] got the wrong philosophy, but they’re willing to die for what they believe, while we are busily giving away every belief and every value for the sake of political correctness.” And that is entirely accurate.

>>A retired doctor is not going to suddenly going to win the become the republican president of the United States as his first political office.

You are correct about that. We need an experienced politician. Perhaps a former governor of states like Massachusetts or even Florida. Yes, we need to support the “electable” candidate.

>>His gun control explanations prove that his ideology is not fully formed. It always scares me when a politician has a flaw in his thinking. It’s a clue that his stances are not deeply rooted, and it probably means that he (or she) will succumb to that natural gravity of Washington.

America should not be a nation where only those with “fully formed idoeologies” can lead. This nation is so polarized along fully formed ideologies already. Congress people should have fully formed ideologies because there are 535 of them and they can balance one another. But a president should be an organic leader and not an ally of half of the people and the enemy of the other half. Not saying he should be a weather vane, but he needs to be able to engage the other side productively.

And the Vagina Vote includes the hipsters and the metrosexuals. Estrogen-Americans of any gender outnumber us all.

Your first sentence may be the dumbest thing I’ve ever read on Free Republic, and I’ve read some incredibly stupid shit here.

The Jimmy Carter situation reflected an America that knew it was hungry for the Lord, and a candidate who was a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Jimmy was going to be the new pastor of America. He muffed it badly. This was not being clueless about the world; it was being clueless about the Lord and the Lord’s enemies.

Trying to compromise away from the Lord because Jimmy Carter did things wrong is like seeking storm shelter on the open beach because your roof is leaking.

Professional politicians with a message that is crafted by polling and policy experts love people like you. All they need to do is say the right things and you follow like a well-conditioned pet.

Citizen statesmen prefer thinking people like me. They see the world as more than a series of bullet points.

“America should not be a nation where only those with “fully formed idoeologies” can lead.”

That is your sentence. The implication is that we should choose people without conviction over people with conviction. Now, since I can safely assume that we both lean in a conservative direction, You would at the very least search for politicians who are also conservative. Correct? Now, let’s assume that you have located two (2). One is sure in his/her beliefs, the other is still trying to figure out what he/she believes... This is a tough call for you? Seriously? What, exactly, do you find distasteful about someone who has spent a lot of time reconciling the issues in his or her own mind? Doesn’t that point to a seriousness of concern about one’s fellow man? Or do you, like a lot of sunshine conservatives, think that conservatism is the right course, but hey, we all know that deep down conservatives could care less about the poor, minorities, women, etc...?

Grow a brain and search for people who aren’t going to disappoint you after the lobbyists start wining and dining them. PUHLEASE?

“Citizen statesmen prefer thinking people like me...”

This is also YOUR sentence, and it implies that a “fully-formed ideology” likely comes from someone who doesn’t think.. Huh? What logic is this? Your sentence also implies that “thinking people” never really arrive at conclusions. They are ALWAYS in a state of flux...

“Oh! I hate gun control! But dang it, how can ALLOW people to just carry guns around like cowboys?”

“Oh my, and now I have this lobbyist contributing 10k to my campaign, and all he/she wants is a tiny little restriction. Just an itty bitty regulation that simply requires people to register their guns.”

Dr. Carson until recently was for gun registration. This means that he was willing to espouse an idea about guns BEFORE he even spent an hour looking at all of the ramifications of such a policy. Is this the type of thinking person you are talking about?

That sure failed as defense of the ego case called retired doctor Carson, who wants America to make his first election straight from nowhere, to President of the United States.

Your gullibility is what he lives for.
