Cruz is a quitter.

If he runs for POTUS, he would have served in the Senate almost the same time Palin served as Governor.

Palin had legitimate reasons to quit; she was being destroyed financially and politically. Cruz is not.

Lets say Sally is a nurse in a hospital. She is looking to be CEO of that hospital. When she becomes a CEO, she gets to pick a charge-nurse to be in charge of all other nurses.

Now, would you call Sally’s choice to be the CEO as “quitting” too?
