For months, Glenn has been warning about the threat posed by Russia to the Western way of life. While he plans to go in-depth on the historical roots of the issue, he did point out to one very disturbing story on radio this morning. The BBC reports that Russia has banned transgendered and transexual people from obtaining driver’s licenses, claiming they are “tightening medical controls for drivers” in light of rising accidents on the road. Should any government be able to deny a driver’s license for such reasons?
“Russia just banned giving driver’s licenses to people who are gay or transgendered or cross-dressing. Because they are psychologically unfit to drive. Warning. Warning. This is the way it began in the 1930s. It is time to unite. It is time for people who believe in less power for government, more power for people, people who believe that governments, when they go bad, round people up,” Glenn said.

Here he implies banning someone with transgenderism from driving is the equivalent of hanging them from a crane or throwing them off a building. Idiocy to the max.

Both the Russians and Ukrainians I have known, and this is before the Berlin wall came down, expressed the idea that the world would not be hurt if either of these kinds of aberrations just flat disappeared from the face of the Earth, and I agree.
