I just noticed on the chart he has something in common with Lincoln.

Uh, Jimmy Carter was a graduate of the USNA, so he had a bachelors degree.,/I>

Clinton had a degree of bachelor in him.

He’s already proven himself. I’d vote for him.

This.

I believe that once a person is over 30-35, potential employers should look at their track record, not their shingles.

Neither does Bill Gates or Steve Jobs.

Kid I grew up with went to a vocational-tech high school, never went to college. He invented several medical devices & runs a company that employees several hundred people. He’s worth about 30 million dollars. Ne did not need a liberal arts degree from an Ivy:)

Far more important is “what has he done lately”. Scott Walker gets my vote (if he runs) based on his history as governor.

Lincoln had less than one full year of formal education in his entire life. (Project Arrow)

The lack of college degree certainly no problem with me. Might even regard it as a “plus.”

But Walker’s weakness and wimpishness on amnesty and homo-marriage are the reasons I don’t particularly trust the guy. Anyone not solid on those two issues will never get my vote. I didn’t vote for Romney due in huge part to his facilitation of the homo agenda, and I have no problem leaving my presidential ballot blank again in 2016.

The chart indicates a difference between “finished college’ and bachelor’s degree. Those who went to military academies show ‘finished college,’ but not bachelor’s degree.

Given some recent Ivy League grads who’ve sat in that Oval Office, I’m more than willing to give a non-grad a shot.

There’s a difference between “affirmative action” and “legacy” Ivy League graduates and individuals that actually earned their way into such a school. Do I have to spell out who I’m talking about or do you get it?

I could support Walker and I’ve seen him as a potential candidate since his successful win against unions even though. There are a couple areas I’d like clarified though. Out of all the governors Walker and Perry stand tall plus both of them have been good about campaigning for other candidates even ones that are seen outside of the establishment.

Yeah, and he helped create the biggest disaster in our history.

I’ve known some very smart, capable people with no degrees, and I’ve known some real idiots with multiple degrees.

I have a doctorate and two master’s degrees, none of which would make me a better President. In today’s world, one can gain all the “middlebrow” knowledge necessary to navigate the world effectively without a college degree. In fact, most of what one would need to know to be an effective President, such as leadership experience and administrative experience, is not obtained in college. Finally, if colleges today taught the general curriculum that was taught as late as 60 years, meaning all that Dead White European Male stuff from Moses to Aristotle to Cicero to Augustine and Aquinas to Shakespeare to Locke to Kant to Jefferson to Melville to Twain, that would help make a very good President, but the indoctrination [insert expletive here] that is generally taught these days helps to make a very bad President.

Great story in WSJ today about kid in Texas, community college grad in welding, making 130 grand a year.

72 hours a week, there’s some hope for this generation!

Exactly!! From my own experience, I can say that I have multiple degrees but my wife assures me repeatedly that I am, in fact, an idiot.

Has anybody seen how well Academia has done in the last 6 years. Anybody who isn’t a lawyer ought to get preference points.

Then again, who has actually seen any of Barry’s true documents.
