Isn’t any suicide by a young person a tragedy?
Any death is tragic, suicide is probably the worst for those left behind.
With regard to this and similar cases, the real tragedy is that the "helping" professions are confusing the symptoms with the cause. Suicidal persons often experiment with social transgressions as a way to self-medicate the brain with adrenaline; but the relief doesn't last and requires more and more risky behaviors to obtain relief. It is the depression and anxiety that need to be treated aggressively.
