Leelah Alcorn, the transgender teen who committed suicide in Ohio on Dec. 28, opened up about a sense of desperation to a fellow classmate at Kings High School last year. In a Facebook message to Raiden Quinn, Alcorn wrote, "Ever since I was 4, I knew I wish I was born a girl, and a couple of years ago I came out to my family and close friends as transsexual and they freaked out, in the bad way." What this shows is that kids who think they were born the wrong sex need psychological help. Adults who indulge the kids by playing along and pretending that a boy is a girl or vice versa are just creating more problems.
There is a great book of research called “The Man Who Would Be Queen” - there are two types: excessively gay males that feel unconfortable with their masculinity and men turned on by acting female.
Yeah it’s “heartbreaking” for the innocent truck driver who was merely doing his job but has now to deal with this because of this selfish jerk.
Sexual arousal is a base behavior that normal people control. If you have a need to be constantly stimulated sexually, it’s generally an indication of psychological problems.

trans gender has nothing to do with sexual arousal my sister is trans gender identifying more with being male and I would say that she is more asexual in behavior. it is a illness of the mind on how one sees them self different from homosexuality which is a illness on how they look at sex in general. my sister is obsessed with male behavior most of it non sexual in nature.
Female transgenders are very different from male transgenders. Generally Female transgenders are just girls who are not very attractive to males, (Or who have had bad relationships with males) and so they often give up trying and focus more on having relationships with females with whom there is less of a fear of rejection.
Male transgenders are often molested boys and/or have been conditioned by their mothers/families to be effeminate. Excessively domineering mothers are often a factor.
Of course they did! If your child announced he had a serious mental illness, what would YOU do, celebrate?

Not only do we not know how to treat it (throwing various drugs at the brain, and through trial an error hoping for the best - is a very risky proposition), there is a stigma attached to those that suffer from these illnesses. Prayer, love, and try to find the best treatment (which may include drugs) for the individual. Each case will be different.
It would be like a psychologist speaking to a former soldier with PTSD and telling him "Yes, you're right - there are gooks in the bushes who intend to kill you, and in your closet at home as well."

She appears to have some deep seated and serious psychological problem which is likely to get her killed. Homosexuals are the most disease ridden portion of the population.
Too bad “Leelah” could not have managed to be adopted by Angelina Jolie.
Isn’t any suicide by a young person a tragedy?
Any death is tragic, suicide is probably the worst for those left behind.
