Warning: A Vote for Jeb (or Christie or Romney or Rubio, etc.) is a vote for Hillary
Maceman

OK. So all the "pragmatic" conservatives who bit the bullet and voted for RINOs once again in November 2014 got their reward with the Republican votes for Obama and his trillion-dollar budget increase for 2015 in the lame duck session.

These are the same people who scolded us about risking another 2 years of Harry Reid and a return of Nancy Pelosi as Speaker if we stayed home on election day.

Well, I think reality is that anyone who votes for a RINO in the 2016 primaries, or in the general election, is voting for Hillary (or Warren or whomever the Democrats choose). Plain and simple.

We conservatives need to spend the next two years pushing one simple message: If the GOPe and their moderate enablers select a "moderate" and/or pro-amnesty candidate in the 2016 primaries -- then it is they, and NOT WE, who are guaranteeing a Democrat presidential victory come November 2016.

Why? Because every self-respecting conservative will refuse to vote for a RINO presidential candidate in 2016, either in the primary or the general election.

All conservatives must pledge early and often to boycott a RINO GOP candidate.

We need to spend the next two years getting that message out -- and convincing the GOPe that we are serious about this.

We need the big donors to understand that if they put their money behind moderate GOPe type candidates, they might just as well put all their money in a big pile, douse it with gasoline and light it on fire.

If they don't heed our warning, and the primary process yields a Bush, or a Christie, or a Huckabee or a Rubio (or any other pro-amnesty candidate), the GOPe need to be made to recognize that they and their "pragmatic" RINO-enabling voters have no one to blame themselves.

And any Freeper who gives me any grief about not voting for the RINO in 2016 (those would be the ones who gave me grief about warning against voting for RINOs in 2014) can just go pound sand.

Conservatives need to be in the RINO faces starting NOW about this, so there will be no mistake. We can't afford to wait until the primaries have run their course and then start complaining after the fact.

We have almost two years to drive that message into their RINO skulls, and to shout it from the rooftops, so that there will be no doubt, and no misunderstanding, about what a conservative boycott will do to the Republican election effort.

We need to DARE the GOPe to defy us on this, knowing that their betrayal will result in a certain conservative boycott, a Democrat president and all the congressional coat-tail-hangers-on that she or he will bring along.

Don't blame us for staying home. Blame yourselves for forcing us to walk away from the Republican Party at the ballot box.

Or maybe we can all just vote for the RINOs in 2016 this one last time so we don't end up with President Hillary or Warren or Sanders, and then we'll get serious in 2018.

As mentioned in related threads, please consider the following. If patriots were to peacefully force the corrupt federal government to surrender 10th Amendment-protected state powers which it has stolen from the states back to the states, then citizens would lose interest in who is in the Oval Office anyway imo.

After getting Obama twice by not voting for the GOPe candidate, conservatives should have learned their lesson and regardless of who the republican candidate is, every conservative needs to get behind whoever wins the nomination, even if they are not the second coming of Ronald Reagan.

You know, I think you have it exactly backwards.

If the Republicans lost to Obama twice because conservatives stayed home, then isn't it the GOPe who failed to learn the lesson -- which is that the GOP can't win by ignoring/attacking its conservative base and running wishy-washy moderate losers?

The pressure shouldn't be on conservatives to show up and vote, it should be on the Uniparty to quit running liberal losers who neither understand nor are able to articulate and push for conservative principles.

“How many more illegal aliens, EPA power grabs, nationalized education programs and trillion dollar spending sprees do you think our nation can survive? “

Agreed! However, you seem to think that the answer to this question is to vote for a democrat???

Think abou what you are advocating. I am the last person that would be happy about voting for a RINO but saying that you would rather vote for a Dem is kind of like yelling at the GOPe “TAKE THIS!” then putting the gun to your head and pulling the trigger.

Remember what General Patton said “No one ever won a war by dying for his country. You win a war by making the other dumb bas*ard die for his country!”

I will work every moment in every way I can to make sure the nominee is NOT a Jeb, Christie, Rubio et al. But I will never vote for Hillary.

The way I see it is if a Rino wins the primary, then we conservatives have failed, we will see a repeat of 2012, wherein all the conservatives in the primary were beat up by conservatives, until the last man standing was a Rino.

We need to get behind a conservative for 2016 NOW; the best all around conservative now is Cruz, he will run and if we get him the momentem now, many wannabe’s will just fall under his weight, there was a lot of money and resources wasted in 2012 by wannabe candidates used primarily to assault one another, you can bet the dems will sooner rather than later get behind one candidate, we need to select our weapon of choice keep our powder dry, build our war chest and plan our attack, stand behind Cruz no matter what phony accusations the enemy may throw at him, you can bet the dems will stand behind theirs and argue that all the true facts about their candidate are in fact false or just plain don’t matter.

We conservatives need to reject the false narrative about money and media bias and voting fraud will defeat us, if we; all of us are actively engaged we can defeat those narratives and enjoy a sweeping victory like never before imagined.

You couldn't be more wrong. I donate my time and money to support conservatives in the primaries. However, I refuse to throw away my vote in the general election. That is how we got Obama. Now who's the problem, the people that voted third party and/or stayed home, which allowed Obama to be elected, or me?

In 1992, I was stupid enough to be part of the 20% who voted for Ross Perot. That got us President Clinton, with about 42% of the vote. Even after he proved to be a lunatic, he got 5% of the vote in 1996, while Clinton failed again to get 50% of the vote. I simply refuse to participate in repeating that history.

NO. I would never vote for a Democrat. But I don't believe that refusing to vote for a RINO is the same as voting for a Democrat.

You need to get it that the way to fight is not to convince conservatives to vote for RINOs, but to convince the GOPe to stop nominating and supporting RINOs.

You don't support liberty by being a Uniparty establishment enabler.

If conservatives stay home because the GOPe keeps sticking us with Doles, McCains and Romneys (yes, and GW Bushes, who had a big role in running up the national debt and paving the way for Obama), then we are not the ones to blame for the electoral disasters that follow.

The blame lies entirely with the GOPe who would rather work with Democrats to ensure the continued growth of government in order to preserve their own perqs and power.

How about calling on the gutless Republican Governors to stand up for the people of their respective states and assert their 10th amendment power?

Someone (me, maybe) will counter that by saying NOT VOTING for Jeb (or Christie or Romney or Rubio, etc.) is a vote for Hillary.

We still have a pile of idiots that just will never get it. America is in the toilet now because these idiots just would not get out a vote for Romney instead of King Obama. They will do the same thing again, you watch and see. Damn idiots and the GOP is full of them. That is why the communists Democrats win.

Patriots must first teach Republican RINO governors about the 10th Amendment. /sarc

Then why should the GOPe and their enablers and donors shift their support to conservative candidates during the primary season? Answer: They shouldn't.

As long as the RINOs know that they can count on your vote no matter who they nominate, they will continue to push the Jebs and Christies et al.

It's unbelievable to me that conservatives don't see this.

“every conservative needs to get behind whoever wins the nomination, even if they are not the second coming of Ronald Reagan.”

ABSOLUTELY NOT! As a conservative, I will vote for conservatives! If there is not a conservative on the ballot with a decent chance of winning, I will vote AGAINST the faux conservative candidate by voting for the openly liberal candidate.

The phony conservative does NOTHING to build the conservative movement - quite the opposite - Bush (both of them) did much damage to the conservative movement by foregoing conservative principles. The general public points to them now to say “Conservatives raise taxes, and conservatives spend too much”.

A true liberal in office helps the conservative movement FAR more than a phony conservative. Our country cannot be saved by phony conservatism.

We have elected 2 Bush presidents.

Each one oversaw a tremendous growth in a Federal spending, expansion of debt, and great solidification of oligarchical rule. Each one started his term with all branches of the government and each ended his term by turning over all branches of the government to the Democrats.

Please explain to me why Hilary would be worse than that.
