The Left are inventive, and their culture war is unending.
For most of the last decade, they have continued their assault on Christmas. They maintain the use of the word is offensive to non-Christians, and therefore politically incorrect. What a joke.
The Christmas tree is the Holiday Tree and Seasons Greetings or Happy Holidays replace Merry Christmas. Christmas decorations in shops and display windows of stores are frowned upon. Funny looks are received from those walking their manicured, prize-winning poodles past your house when they notice your Christmas lights.
Those behind the war on Christmas are urban dwellers who consider themselves the sophisticated gatekeepers of the common good. Awful people without even a trace of the spirit of the season.
Again, rather than leaving a nation whose traditions so clearly irritate them and perhaps moving to another that does not celebrate Christmas, say Iran, perhaps (where their views on feminism, gays and drugs would be most welcome), they remain and have the audacity to try and change their country.
What exactly does Happy Holidays mean? What on earth is a Holiday Tree? What exactly are the seasons greetings? As they say in Texas: Some people just need to be shot. And before the PC brigade jump on me for incitement of violence: I dont mean it literally. You know exactly what I meant.
Political correctness is a vacuous ideology that everyone should refuse to subscribe to. It seeks to emasculate, conform and limit freedom. Those that use it as their weapon seek to fundamentally transform the culture, behavior and actions of a nation.
I am a traditionalist, a Christian and a patriot, and I abhor relativism. Oh, and I love Christmas.
I will always wish someone a Merry Christmas. If they dont like it, they can either live with it, or go.
To my readers, and their families: I wish you a merry, merry Christmas, and a very Happy New Year! I ask that God bless you with all the health and prosperity you need in 2013.
I will be back next year, fighting the good fight.
Hang tough, stand tall, stay strong and be proud: we are in the right.
Hey Mods,
for 2015, can we get a new rule banning cat photos?
just sayin...
While I do not celebrate the Christmas traditions, I certainly stand with fellow Christians who freely exercise their faith and fight against an intolerant secularism that would deny them such right.
We were a better nation when we had reverence for The Lord and did not trample on our expressions and exercise of the Christian faith in America.
He’s dead on.
They could just leave. The US does not have exit visas. You can just go.
But the filth pushing cultural Marxism are on a mission to subvert the one bulwark against a worldwide system of elitist rule and control of the means of production: the US.
Destroy the culture, destroy the nation.
So they stay. If they can win, they get the wealth and power. Make no mistake - what they do with it will make Stalin look friendly. These are psychopaths, bent on control.
Soulless holidays designed to appease the proles, keep them in line.
So Merry Christmas everyone. Put a creche in the front yard and be of good cheer. Upset the Leftist Grinches and throw another wrench in their plans.
Waaaaaaaaait a minute. I didn’t post no cat picture
Time to break out the songbook:
“Its the Most Secular Time of the Year
(to the tune of)
Its the Most Wonderful Time of the Year
Its the most secular time of the year,
With the A.C.L.U. yelling,
Atheists telling you
Jesus is queer.
Its the most secular time of the year.
Its the most secular season of all,
When the protesters show up
and blow up the manger scene
down at he mall.
Its the most secular season of all.
Therell be legal briefs polishing,
Concerts abolishing,
Cops lining up row by row.
Therell be lawsuits aplenty
With fifteen or twenty
Attorneys to sue you and so
Its the most secular time of the year.
When your on your knees bended
And someones offended,
You cant pray in here.
Its the most secular time of the year.
If you have a proclivity
For a Nativity Scene
On your front lawn this year,
Someone soon will come round
Shouting Take this thing down!
Or well see you in court, never fear.
Its the most secular time of the year.
Mistletoe and some holly
Are how to be jolly
But God cant be here.
Its the most secular time of the year.
You can sing Jingle Bells but not
Hark How the Bells cause it
Tells about Jesuss birth.
You can love the Messiah
And be a Pariah but you
Can still say Peace on Earth.
Its the most secular time of the year
When the radios playing,
Its all about sleighing
And one thing is clear
Its the most secular time ,
Its the most secular time .
Its the most secular time of the year!

Love the grumpy cat picture and caption.
Banning cat photos would be ok with me if the mods also ban threads upon which judgment over the “guilt” or “innocence” of a female is wholly dependent upon her appearance.
Regulator,
Thank you for recognizing the attack on Christmas as Lenin’s Cultural Marxism. Even the term ‘politically correct” is a softening of the Leftist intent of cultural Marxism.
Merry Christmas to all.
“They maintain the use of the word is offensive to non-Christians” The use of the word RAMADAN is offensive to ME! what about that?
Heck, I won't even stay in a Ramada Inn, because it sounds too much like "Ramadan."
Did you hear Dennis Miller the other night on the Factor?
His comment was along the lines of “if people don’t like ‘Merry Christmas’ then say ‘Merry Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior’s birthday’ to them.”
My mom and I both got a big kick out his comment.
Viewing Cat pictures is what the internet was designed for.
See post 3... sic im.
Grumpy Cat’s a good kid, but a bit too optimistic.
At the end of the lecture from this sanctimonious social engineer, I stood up and pretended to agree by stating that the last thing I wanted to do was to upset anybody who was offended by the phrase "Merry Christmas".
I ended my comments by saying "To all of my friends who celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, may I wish you a very merry Christmas. And to the rest of you, have a nice day off."
Everybody was laughing as they left the room, and the HR feminazi just stood there dumfounded and unable to say anything.
