North Korea says it's not involved in Sony hack; proposes joint probe with US

Published December 20, 2014

North Korea says it can prove it is not behind the massive Sony Pictures cyberattack that has led to several e-mail leaks, threats on movie theaters and the cancellation of the release of the movie “The Interview.”

The country has also said it proposes a joint investigation with the U.S. on the attack and if the U.S. does not agree, North Korea warns of “grave consequences,” state media says.

The announcement comes as a response to the FBI's statement saying it has enough information to “conclude that the North Korean government is responsible” for the actions.

Obama admin is probably behind this. The cure will tell us whether this admin is behind this attack.

They are capable of doing anything to push the agenda forward.

Interesting that a country is so backwards that it barely produces any electricity could win a cyberwar with the West.

Who benefits from cancellation of the film release the most? Sony has insurance.

'It's desperately unfunny': More leaked emails reveal Sony executives thought North Korea movie would flop

Well played by NK. They had almost nothing to lose. They are already isolated as much as they will be, and trade sanctions as much as they will be. And they looked around the world and saw Obama act like a wimp everywhere he is trying to look tough. Wimpy on Syria where “red lines” suddenly disappeared, wimpy on Iran where deadlines for resolution keep getting extended, wimpy on Russian aggression and so much more. So they calculated that they could get away with this because even if Obama did figure out they were behind it he has no will, no resolve to do anything more than sanctions - which are already in place!. NK had nothing to lose so they went for it.

Now, they invite US to come in and cooperate. Its a joke really. They know Obama won’t do anything to “punish” NK and they are taunting Obama/USA by saying “Oh you accuse us? Well then drop the embargo and come on in we’ll help”. They don’t expect we will, they are just taunting us, basically saying we are impotent. Its very well played. Maybe Chinese and/or Russian advising on the tactics but it doesn’t matter. We lost this one big time. We have a total wimp in the WH. And this is not to say I want Obama to go to war with everyone or anyone. But if you are going to put up red lines and insist on deadlines then you have to have negative consequences for failure to adhere to them - if you don’t then you get no respect, you get no progress on the issues you set out to accomplish, and you get tested by everyone else who wants to push the limits of our tolerance. Mostly it seems that on foreign policy we have a completely indifferent administration.

Oh one more thing. Amy Pascal, CEO of Sony Pictures - how much money did you donate and help raise to elect this President? You are attacked by a foreign country and not only won’t he defend you, he threw you under the bus! Sucker.

I can’t believe that people are not understanding at all what the Sony Hack was all about. It has clear ramifications throughout the Western Pacific.

Sony Corporation is owned and controlled by Japanese Stockholders. They , through their Board of Directors, approved “The Interview” movie project as a way to prod and denigrate, ridicule Kim Jong Un. ( Winston Churchill showed us that ridicule is THE definitive weapon to use against totalitarian leaders.)

Why would the Japanese do such a thing?

1) Obama is in fact not supporting an adversarial military policy to defend Japanese and international waters against North Korea.

2) The Japanese military is by law allowed to only act with measured self defence.

3) North Korea has clearly violated Japan’s sovereignty
by firing missiles OVER the Island to crash in the Pacific Ocean off Eastern Japan.

4)North Korea is China’s Ally, and China has been pursuing an expansionest policy agaionst Japan in the Western Pacific.

5) There are many other reasons.

But if one cannot assassinate a tyrant, the next best thing is tio do a comedy movie bringing about the same. Its all about imagery, you see.The physical world no longer matters, and even the US Congress does not understand the tyranny of that yet.

So how does Japan battle Norh Korea? Sony simply does a ridiculing movie , making millions in the process at the box office, defining Kim Jong Un as a buffoon internationally, and proding him into a rage so he will begin military operations against Japan and South Korea.

Enter President Obama: Who brings the whole thing to a resounding halt using fascist race mongerer, Al ( Da Troof) Sharpton, a criminal who owes a cool million or so to the IRS, but who avoids liability at the whim of the Emperor of the United States, proving beyond any douobt that there are now two systems of law in the USA, one for black folks who copmprise 13% of the population, and a separate one for all others the other 87% of US citizens.( The Ferguson Grand Jury Riots are no accident, Holder and Obama organized them through elements of what used to be ACORN).

In ALL this allows Kim Jong Un and his government to say “ Not Us...It wsan’t us.... And “ Who you laffing at now, Amelican Plicks?,” while simultaneously thumbing their noses at Japan. This is just as Obama wants.

We can’t have anyone tearing down tyrants, because you see, Obama himself is One, and he will not allow the same weapon of ridicule to bear on him, which it will eventually.

“The Interview” should have been published and shown. Bring the weapon of ridicule AGAINST tyranny, including that of the “Dark Lord” of the United States.

Support our Japanese Allies!

You know... I was wondering about this yesterday. It would not surprise me if North Korea is not behind this. For all we know its two kids in Connecticut.

The whole "we'll stand down if you never release the movie".... that doesn't sound believable.

Of course the Norks aren't behind this - but they will take full advantage of our bumbling gov't to exploit it to their advantage...

Why the Sony hack is unlikely to be the work of North Korea

Occam's Razor - it was most likely a disgruntled former employee (Sony just laid off thousands).
