Can Warren Knock Off Hillary? Democrats have a thin bench for 2016
American Thinker ^ | 12/15/2014 | Victor Keith

There has been a lot of grumbling among the leftist hordes of the Democratic Party that indicate something less than overwhelming enthusiasm for the coronation of Hillary Clinton as their standard-bearer in 2016. It is difficult to imagine why, considering her charm, effervescence, eloquence, and unquestionable past, there would be anything but unanimous support for the good lady – unless it is because none of those qualities are attributable to her.

Now comes the proposition that since she has signed on for paid speaking engagements (virtually the only thing she has been successful at) until March of 2015, Hillary can wait until April to announce her presidential run. That is an example of considerable hubris, considering that her last coronation was upended in 2008 by a junior senator from Illinois with absolutely no accomplishments in federal or state government.

There does not seem to be a “golden one” waiting in the wings this year, since most of the alternatives mentioned are white males who, for the most part, are out of fashion in the Democratic Party. While Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden will bring a smile, they will attract no votes.

But then there is Elizabeth Warren – she of “You didn’t build that” and “I’m Cherokee because of my high cheekbones” fame. The sad thing for the Democrats is that their bench is so thin that they will literally have to choose between a Wall Street tool and a clueless and hypocritical academic. She is, after all, somehow a millionaire. I wonder how that happened, since she could not have possibly “built that.”

I'd really like to see a Ted Cruz vs. Elizabeth Warren match-up.

The firsts: The first Hispanic American vs the first Woman (fake) Native American for President...

Never fear. There is some ‘paper warrior’ somewhere around which the powers that be will coalesce. Another fence post turtle.

I like Cruz and will support him should he decide to run.
That being said, I am tired of “firsts”. What I want right now is experience and the know how to put the country on the right track to prosperity and get the government out of my life.

Truth be told? I really want Hillary to run. Seriously. I think Hillary is very beatable. I think the squaw, Elizabeth Warren, will be much harder to beat.

I believe Warren is basically a Communist, or at the very least, a hard left radical Socialist who may have more personal warmth than Hillary (not hard). Certainly, Warren will have more fire in the belly because she is a true believer, borderline socialist evangelist. Hillary is just tired and is being pushed into this.

Additionally, I think Warren will easily excite all the college campuses that would otherwise be lukewarm for Hillary.

Warren would easily promise every minority everything they ever dreamed of, and she will score well with them. Hillary would be more subtle and would be hard-pressed to generate the enthusiasm Warren the socialist would.

The brain-dead single women Sandra Fluke and Lena Dunham types will eagerly line up for their sister who is down with the struggle. While I think Hillary would also have this group; however, I doubt Hillary could generate the intensity that Warren could among these increasingly bitter and strident feminazis.

Hillary has political baggage. Hillary is a dinosaur from the past. Warren is the blank slate.

Therefore, I'm ready for Hillary.

The thing that saddens me more than all else is the fact that no matter which low IQ bimbo (the Hillabeast or Fauxahauntis) gets nominated by the dim-bulbs, the GOP will give us a RINO who will be unable to expose the shallow thinking and poor records of either.

Result: Another four years of idiocy perped by a leader who couldn’t hold a job at a hamburger stand.

IIRC, Warren has not even completed a full Senate term, has she?

Democrats have a thin bench for 2016

At least they have a bench. If the Republican script plays out as did the last two times, they'll be too busy shooting themselves in the foot to worry about having a bench.

Democrats aren’t looking for someone qualified to do the job.

They are looking for the candidate with the most victim group / minority characteristics.

Competent, experienced white males need not apply.

If onl;y they could find a half black / half Hispanic cross dressing, bi-polar homo/lesbian cohabiting with a converted muslim homo and a guy formerly named Brutus (now called Booty-Licious) who is undergoing sex reassignment surgery.

I think Elizabeth Warren has more skeletons in her closet than Lois Lerner.

I think she would be an excellent choice for the Democrats.

The only female I would have EVER considered for President was Jeane Kirkpatrick.

Alas, it'll be a looooong time before we get another gem like Ms. Kirkpatrick.
