And to be fair to McCain (which he is not to us!), he’s always been for campaign spending limits, so maybe the increase in limits led him vote nay.

>>Ted Cruz once again is proving he is the real deal.<<

Best vote I've ever cast aside from Ronald Reagan.

Leading up to the 2016 presidential elections, I pray he doesn't meet up with a misfortunate accident of some kind.

At this point, I wouldn't put it past the secret society/shadow gubbamint crowd to preserve their hold on power.

>>It is called “cave-in”, go along to get along, smooch my butt and I’ll smooch yours (you first).<<

If you listen to Ted Cruz’s floor speech again, pay close attention to the highlighted portions shedding light on the corruption.

The last president that attempted to expose the dark shenanigans and secret deals up in D.C. was off’d. Take a listen. Creepy.

Ted Cruz is a true American patriot and he will get my time, talent, treasure and prayers to help elect him as our next president.

The nominee story is BS. They are trying to make Cruz pay a political price for standing up for us.

Cruz says they were already planning on coming back Monday to push those nominees.

Even IF this BS story is true, it’s not Cruz’ fault that the Whig party decided to sell out America. Any blame for those nominees lay at McConnell’s feet.

In any case, this is a made up story. The Uniparty needs to tag their enemy.

The GOPe will never let Cruz run for POTUS because he was born in Canada, even though it didn't stop George Romney who was born in Mexico.

The difference is of course Cruz is one of us, and Romney is not.

Ted Cruz is not a natural born citizen since he was born in Canada. He was not born on an American military base. No matter who his parents are, he wasn't born on American soil. I would be ecstatic to vote for him for president. He must not run. He didn't even relinquish his Canadian citizenship which was dual with his Americn citizenship until recently. Canada is tied to the throne of England and the most important the reason to the Founders for putting the 'natural born' phrase in the Constitution was to forever keep the president from any ties to the throne. So I really pray that Cruze doesn't run as much as I admire him.

Natural born means entitled by circumstances of birth to American citizenship. As opposed to naturalIZED. They did not need to naturalize Cruz for him to be eligible for all the rights and privileges of being American.

Barack Obama could well be another story, with his secretive and phonied history. Nobody knows but him and God. He might well be out and out Kenyan.

Folks, we are making it a lot harder than it needs to be.

Well, I’d at one time the same opinion, but after quite a bit of research, the SCOTUS had never taken up the issue of natural born citizen and it’s particulars such as one parent being an American citizen.

I do disagree with Cruz NOT relinquishing his dual citizenship. He did.

As I see it, the 18 of faithless bastards who did this, who had NO POLITICAL EXCUSE (such as representing a marginally Republican swing State or a State with a large Hispanic population) was obviously sufficient to have prevented this disaster.

Alexander (R-TN) Expected, No Excuse
Ayotte (R-NH) Expected swing State
Barrasso (R-WY) No Excuse
Blunt (R-MO) Expected swing State
Boozman (R-AR) No Excuse
Burr (R-NC) Expected swing State
Coats (R-IN) No Excuse
Cochran (R-MS) Owes McConnell
Collins (R-ME) Expected swing State
Cornyn (R-TX) Large Hispanic population, but he'd have done it anyway, so No Excuse
Enzi (R-WY) No Excuse
Fischer (R-NE) Expected, No Excuse
Graham (R-SC) Expected, No Excuse
Hatch (R-UT) Expected, No Excuse
Hoeven (R-ND) No Excuse
Isakson (R-GA) No Excuse
Johanns (R-NE) No Excuse
Kirk (R-IL) Expected, swing State
McConnell (R-KY) Expected, No Excuse
Murkowski (R-AK) Expected, No Excuse
Roberts (R-KS) Expected, No Excuse
Thune (R-SD) No Excuse
Toomey (R-PA) Outright betrayal
Wicker (R-MS) No Excuse

But IMHO, what I am convinced the Founders were referring to was a minimum of birth on American soil as an absolute requirement for a natural born classification. I believe they wanted to always keep any ties to the Crown of England to be eliminated and they thought this would be one way. Born in Canada, e.g., is an example of ties to the Crown.

I said that he recently did relinquish his Canadian citizenship. Doesn’t matter to me. I’m extremely literal on a birth on American soil, an American military base, or even in an American embassy. If he runs and is our candidate, they will obliterate him with that by waiting and it will be the October surprise of 2016, throwing the entire election into complete turmoil.

Let me tell ya, we are in a fight for our national life. The RINOs and Socialist are attempting to steal our republic. They are playing for keeps and they don’t play fair.

Obozo is a foreign born individual. They’ve sealed all his records so we cannot discover this. A decade from now, they will release the info that proves it and at this time they will say, “You see, we had a foreign born president and our republic is still standing”.

Problem is, the constitutional republic will be a thing of the past. These people have already begun marginalizing the constitution. They are passing law without congress, using regulation in place of law.

Having a literal interpretation is understandable, but re-read the constitution, it is not as literal. It is pretty vague in regards to both parents needing to be citizens or whether the person must be born on our soil. The constitution does not mention Embassies or military bases.

Until the supreme court accepts, hears arguments and adjudicates, the constitution will remain vague.

Well said. True, the parental citizenship is quite vague and also true that military bases and embassies are not mentioned in the constitution. As far as I know those are still considered American soil but that's just MHO. I had never considered the theory of them releasing, a decade from now, the arrogant juvenile jacka$$e's true background data and saying the republic survived.

I think we are in greater peril than any time since the Revolution. At least we had leaders during the Civil War era. We have no leadership today, except for the radical liberal Marxists pushing their insane agenda and not only marginalizing the constitution, but actually violating it in the first degree. And those that aren't of that ilk continue to ignore their oath of office. In addition, these monstrosity bills that they pass were warned about specifically in Federalist 62.

I happen to believe that the Article V Convention of the States for Amending is the only constitutional chance we have to save our dear republic. The first amendment I would recommend would be a repeal of the Seventeenth Amendment. Washington is lost to the liberal Marxists and others.

Can you imagine what the Founders would say if they saw what was happening today?

>>Can you imagine what the Founders would say if they saw what was happening today?<<

I can certainly imagine what they would say...and what they’d do. Our founding fathers would be forming militia and formulating their logistics in prep for an all out civil war. Not advocating, just sayin.

We ARE in a civil, civil war at the present. America is a powder keg. The Oligarchs are fomenting racial strife, fiscal collapse and economic hardship in an effort to usher in a model far different from our constitutional republic.

Communism is the gubbamint, Socialism is the economics. Go out and research the communist goals to bring down America. These are true, recorded, bonafide goals. Scary.

Scary in that they’ve achieved nearly every single goal from infiltration of political parties, media, education institutions. From creating moral decline by the promotion of homosexuality to stripping society of any mention of the Almighty.

The latest betrayal by the republicans should open every single eye and cause a sense of urgency. Even a call to arms. America is not at that point, but folks need to begin preparing for hard times.

The enemy IS WITHIN the gates. They are stomping on the pedal and blazing a trail for the final destruction of our republic. This used to be thought of the conspiracy theorist and or nut jobs.

Americans still have too much to lose. Kids off to soccer. Dad/mom out earning a living. Grandma in the hospital.

When Americans wake up in dire circumstances, when the monetary system seizes, food hard to acquire, energy rationed and gubbamint pressing down on the average Joe, folks will then fear the future. All the provisions collected and powder kept dry once ridiculed by their neighbors will be worth their weight in gold. Gold...that’s for the next chapter, lol.
