Law states that it is up to Lurch to publish those that are on the restricted list... I doubt Libya, Iran, et al are on that published list...

From State.gov:

Country Designation Date
Cuba March 1, 1982
Iran January 19, 1984
Sudan August 12, 1993
Syria December 29, 1979
Iraq and Libya were on the list, according to wikipedia.

Well, that leaves only two years until we can get rid of at least some of the others. If these 22 stay the course, we can keep then, the others not so much.

"Republican [leadership, overriding any ethical sense, and to undermine Cruz, et al] agreed later to shut off the marathon votes and allow Reid to begin processing 24 nominees."

Ed and Sean side with the Republicans only when it advances the feds spending agenda. What do you "reporters" say about Warren trying to block this bill as well?

We have ZERO representation in this Imperial Fascist Oligarchy now ruling us.

From historic landslide to giving a big, Obama-style FU to The People that voted for them in about a month.

That would be because this people continue to exist in an illusion that this is still a representative republic.

It’s not, as if we needed any more evidence than the big Obama-style FU we just received.

We have a fatal case of Normalcy Bias.

Because to recognize the truth means we either do two things: surrender and submit to this tyranny; - or fight it with every fiber of our being by every means possible.

The ballot box is no longer a viable option, as evidenced.

That’s deficit spending, only a very small portion of the amount for government spending for a year.

That’s about the amount of deficit spending for each of several of the past few years and more.

Why not do a 3 month CR and then fund the government next year with the new crowd? I am not the brightest bulb in the box but this is an incredibly stupid decision.

Screw Tom Marr. Just recently on TGO’s show he said he was giving Boner and Turtle ‘another’ chance... he sounds just like the way those two ‘operate’ with the Liberals and Obammy.

had enuf YET a$$wipe? (this is directed at Tom Marr)

Phew! Thank goodness it passed! Many of us were beginning to really get worried that the politicians wouldn’t start their holiday vacation until just before Christmas...

We do not hold the Senate until Jan 3

We? I think the "We" you're talking about, is not "us" unless the leadership for the House and Senate change. The only thing the new crop of Conservatives can do now is start campaigning for reelection in 2016, and they will have to do it carefully or their leaders will cut their campaign dollars from our tax money they dole out before every election.

"I’d like to see the TEA Party people hold their own convention BEFORE the primary season begins, and settle on just one candidate to run in the GOP primaries."

Well, since the Tea Party is a movement and not a real party and there are multiple groups, that will be difficult; but your point is well taken. There needs to be a third party formed with a unified command and a single candidate who will start a formal third party alternative to the Rats and Pubbies who are merging to form the uniparty.

Third party? Split the vote and give the election to Warren or Clinton?

How about every man jack of us show up at the 2016 RNC convention and be a force?

“Duck and cover — we are the wrecking crew and we are coming!!”

I like this. Tea Party can just decide to constantly be more of a thorn in the side of the GOP,,going to get blamed for it anyway.
