Reports state that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid tried to force a quick Friday afternoon vote to send the CR-Omnibus budget to the President to be signed into law, but Republican Senators Mike Lee, Ted Cruz, and Jeff Sessions wanted Reid to agree to allow a vote to defund Obama's amnesty plans before they would agree to vote for the budget.

.... agree to allow a vote to defund Obama’s amnesty plans before they would agree to vote for the budget.

This will help us identify the GOPe traitors.

We will just disagree on what we think Romney would have done vis a vis those things even if he as POTUS would have brought them up. How successful for instance has BO been on getting gun control?

but would you agree with me Romney would have handled foreign affairs? Do you think Romney would allow the IRS to target conservatives? Do you think Romney would have allowed the release of a partisan report on the CIA? Do you think Romney would insult white people? Do you think Romney would allow the DOJ to ignore Fast and Furious but to then investigate Ferguson?
Do you think Romney would have called ISIS the jv? Do you think Romney would allow Putin to run all over him and make a fool of USA?

You realize that Romney said if elected he would end the 2 year reprieve on deportation that BO put in place?

But apparently it was more important for some to think they punished republicans by not voting when all they did was hurt us all
No one can deny BO in power has hurt us all

Romney said a lot of things that were not true, so it is hard to decipher what was true and what was not.

I reject your liberal assertions that Romney was better than Obama. They both want the same liberal objectives. They are both getting them now.

You are republican, not conservative.

Romney would have done all those things with YOUR republican support.

I don't care about rhetoric. I care about what liberal objectives get accomplished. Romney accomplished those when he was governor.

I will never agree that your liberal republican is somehow better than any other type of liberal. I will vote for conservatives, and never liberals, including republican liberals in the general election.

The facts today are that the liberal House has passed a 1.1T$ bill supporting obamacare and amnesty. Those are your republicans.

Let me remind you the time to get the candidate you want is before the nominations
and yes grass roots can affect who gets nominated.
My senator Cru is an example. Old money Pubs wanted Dewhurst. Cruz was one of 8 other candidates starting out at ZERO.Some of us her is Texas worked from March 2011 through July 2012 to get him elected.
So if you don’t like the incumbent or the favorite work to get the one you want.

BUT nothing you can say will ever convince me Romney would have been as destructive for our country.
let’s agree to disagree on that and not sink to an uncivil level.

Let me remind you the time to get the candidate you want is before the nominations.

Let me remind you that you don't get to make those rules for other people.

I will work to politically destroy liberal republicans in the general election if required.

Your liberal republican House is just as destructive as if Nancy had been leading it.

They just passed funding for amnesty and obamacare.

Your support of liberal republicans is noted.

I did NOT vote for Cornyn, and worked the phones, and on the streets trying to get him to lose the general election.

Next time, maybe.

Since the Senate is still in Democratic hands, Harry Reid shouldn’t have needed the approval of three Conservative Republican Senators to get the CRomnibus passed — that is, if all of the Democratic Senators agreed to vote for the bill.

But we’ve known since at least Thursday that all of the Democratic Senators are NOT in favor of the bill — in fact, Elizabeth Warren and her liberal followers have made it known that they’re strongly against it, primarily because of the gifts to Wall Street and millionaire campaign donors it contains.

Harry doesn’t have enough votes or the bill would have been passed by now. Could it be that the Senate Republicans, even its RINO majority, are unwilling to vote for the bill so that Harry can go home for Christmas?

If Harry can’t get enough votes, the government will shut down, and then he can go home. Or, if the Senate Republicans stand firm, they can pass a series of short-term Continuing Resolutions until the new year is here and the Republicans take over the Senate and begin to carry out the mandate the voters gave them last month. Would Mitch McConnell be honorable enough to do such a thing?

No, your question is not supporting liberal GOP politicians with supporting liberal democrat politicians.

In the frame of your question, the voter has to eat the crap sandwich as long as it was made by republicans.

Choosing not to vote is a valid choice.

You are acting as a shill for the liberal GOPe.

Now THIS is funny
“Let me remind you that you don’t get to make those rules for other people”

Working in the nomination process is NOT my rule. It is the process in place and has been for over 100 years.
My rule ha ha ha ha.

Is one going to be successful everytime? Of course not , only an idiot would think so but as long as we do have the right to participate in the process we should.
Now more than ever grass roots efforts do make a difference

so get back in there and work for YOUR nominee in 2016
and good luck.

Yes, he does. Cloture is still in effect. Any single sentator can block this measure.

You want people to vote for whatever your republican candidate is in the general election. That is your rule. I reject that.

I am fully aware, having worked campaigns, exactly how the process works.

I am NOT required to vote for your liberal republican in the general election. And I don't.

I don't rely just on getting a nominee. I can also help destroy liberal general election candidates. And I will.

Thank you. I didn’t know about cloture. But if a single Senator can block a bill, let’s hope Ted Cruz and his followers will use it more often.

LOL! What a load of bull.

Warren is an empty suit the media paint with unbelievable (though apparently not to you) PR: Obama in drag.

I agree. It needs to be used. There is a price to pay for using it, though. Cruz got demonized here on FR last time he tried it, when Obama and Reid shut down the government.

At this point, Hillary Clinton or Barney Frank might win the 2016 presidential election .. IF the GOPe succeeds in betraying conservatives again.
