POLL: Race Relations in U.S. at Low Not Seen Since 1990s

CBS NEW YORK – A just-released CBS news poll finds race relations in the United States at a low not seen since the 1990s.

The survey, in the wake of grand juries clearing white police officers in the deaths of unarmed black men, finds 45 percent of Americans believe race relations in the U.S. are good.

That’s down from 2012 when 62 percent thought they were good.

CBS News Director of Surveys Sarah Dutton says only one in five Americans – 22 percent – think race relations are improving in the U.S. Thirty-six percent think they are getting worse, and 40 percent think they are staying the same.

Even the race marches in the 60s were at least for a valid reason, and most of those were peaceful.

What’s going on today is some sort of pay-back to keep the Blacks on the Democrat Plantation.

There is no issue of racism today across the board.

Go to school. Apply yourself. Get a job. Enjoy the good life.

That was what I experienced after living in the south for over 11 years and returned to the north. I was shocked by the racism I felt from the blacks in my former Indiana home town. It shocked me. I never saw, heard or felt it in the south.
