While the program may not have been flawless, the Senate Report does not detail the successful uses of Enhanced Interrogation.

“The CIA’s use of its enhanced interrogation techniques was not an effective means of acquiring intelligence or gaining cooperation from detainees.”

anyone who believes that is a fool.....

These summary conclusions are largely lies intended to deceive the public.

I could care less that 7 A-holes didn’t provide meaningful intelligence.

That they were enemy combatants, with a fervent and zealous religous motivation, is enough for me.

There are consequences for killing 3,000 people.

Those consequences extend to the leadership and minions.

Sohhhhh, eff em...

“seven of the 39 CIA detainees known to have been subjected to the CIA’s enhanced interrogation techniques produced no intelligence while in CIA custody”

Ok. Does that mean that 32 did provide intelligence?

Correct. The successful uses would have given information to our enemies about who talked and what they might have told us. Information which is still very useful in predicting the actions of leaders who are still currently active.

By saying it failed, the current leaders feel more emboldened to follow previous tactics, techniques and plans, without changing them significantly.

These “findings” are the work of Senate Democrats who did not interview a single CIA official responsible for the programs evaluated.

"seven of the 39 CIA detainees known to have been subjected to the CIA's enhanced interrogation techniques produced no intelligence"

or, in English, enhanced techniques had an 86% success rate in providing new intelligence, which was then used to gain even more intelligence.

Why some people are sooooo concerned about murderous scumbags is a mystery to me.

Yes, thats true. Since its written this way the motivation seems completely political. This is very unwise and those involved need to be publicly named.

What gets me, is that they release this report EXPECTING (wanting) retaliation because of it.

Any CIA reports are fabricated. That’s the way it’s supposed to be. That’s how you keep the upper hand. You don’t blab it all over the world. What a DA Obuma is.

The Senate Dims are pissed about losing their majority. This is their way of sticking a finger in the eye of Bush, the CIA and the country one last time.

Don't believe anything in this thoroughly political document.

...seven of the 39 CIA detainees known to have been subjected to the CIA's enhanced interrogation techniques produced no intelligence while in CIA custody...

How many of the 2,400+ people killed in Obama drone strikes produced no intelligence? This includes women and children, and that's only in the first 5 years of Odrone attacks.

At least one very vital piece of intelligence was produced by Khalid Sheikh Muhammed, the mastermind of 9/11.

He was one of three who was waterboarded...and it's a good thing they did because he divulged that there was a courier who served Bin Laden.

Because of this, the SEALS were able to pinpoint Bin Laden's location and kill him.

The waterboarding technique was physically harmful, inducing convulsions and vomiting. Abu Zubaydah, for example, became "completely unresponsive, with bubbles rising through his open, full mouth."Internal CIA records describe the waterboarding of Khalid Shaykh Mohammad as evolving into a "series of near drownings."

How many people in the end were waterboarded? Previously I thought I'd heard it was less than 10.

And Khalid Shaykh Mohammad is still very much with us. And from what I recall, he did talk. Was he the one who gave up the Heathrow Airport plot?

“The CIA's Detention and Interrogation Program damaged the United States' standing in the world, and resulted in other significant monetary and non-monetary costs.”

You had arab and Boston news outlets running porno website photos as "proof" that American GIs were raping Iraqis.

You had radical academics claiming that the US was raping Iraq and the metaphor was reported as fact in Turkey and elsewhere.

There was a lot of BULLSTALIN misinformation from the Left that damaged the US' standing in the world.

The British press is now claiming that that Heathrow bomb plot was merely a hoax with no actual participants, purely cooked up by KSM to stop the waterboarding.

Doesn’t match the nature of the convictions though.

21st key finding.....

Orchestrate, time, and execute a news diversion of Gruber Hearings to this story for political cover.

Can't believe they forgot that one.
