IIRC, in the 1980s, one anti-nuke protester went up against a train, and lost a leg.

Don't know if there was also one in Washington, but a protested named Brian Wilson (IIRC) lost one in such an accident at the Concord Naval Weapons Station in Concord, CA back about then.
