GOP Spending Bill Gives Nearly $1 Billion To Aid Border Migrants
Dailycaller ^

Posted on 12/09/2014 8:53:08 AM PST by navysealdad

The GOP’s draft 2015 “omnibus” spending bill reportedly includes $948 million to help poor and unskilled Central American migrants establish themselves in the United States, but includes no effective restrictions on President Barack Obama’s plan to provide work permits and tax payments to millions of resident illegal immigrants.

That new spending works out to $16,928 for each of the 56,000 youths, young adults and children who crossed the border during the 12 months up to October 2014.

FWIW, call your Reps and tell them this...

...pass a short-term Continuing Resolution rather than a long term omnibus, and include language blocking funding for Obamas amnesty in it. If outgoing Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid can muster the votes to strip that language from the bill, or if Obama vetoes it after Reid fails to garner the votes, then the conservatives want the House to pass a short term CR until the new Republican congress, with GOP reinforcements, is sworn in in January. At that point, they’ll target Obamas amnesty funding before he can get the program off the ground...”

They do this and the national GOP will not get another dime from me.

Sorry but I don't think that our nickles and dimes mean anything to them anymore. They have all of the deep pockets of corporate America to tap.

"We the People" Don't really matter anymore.

“The GOP just doesn’t get it. We want the borders closed, not giving them money to come here. Are they THAT stupid?”

You are really funny. Wake up!

Read 1984 and animal farm. The two party system is an illusionary distraction! Sadly, 99.9% of americans really believe it...even when reality totally contradicts it.

Over in the UK they have supernational rules like the EU to dictate policy that allows a flood of cheap labor to come in.

It was very tricky passing and amending the legislation recently passed in Australia that continues to divert boat illegals off to the South Pacific islands where they stay until their cases are dealt with.

The Tony Abbott government will not allow people to stay permanently in some cases, giving the government the right to kick people out if they aren’t considered “refugees”.

I get the sense the United Nations and its rules and standards give the R’s and D’s in this country the rationale for their handling of illegal immigration.

And they aren’t anytime soon and if they do leave, another GOPe person will replace them.

Perhaps the new names for their organization should be the GOPe Party or the RINO Party.

Have the Republican cheerleaders, insiders, frauds and the cup droolers, those begging people to vote for their private club, come in with all the excuses yet again?

The same frauds and cons who tell ya 3rd parties are a waste of time....

It’s political battered wives syndrome...

Over and over and over and over...on and on and on...

They’re all riding in the same limo....Good cop bad cop..

As the audience of fools applaud and cheer...

Rand Paul On Shutdown: "Even Though It Appeared I Was Participating In It, It Was A Dumb Idea"
I said throughout the whole battle that shutting down the government was a dumb idea. Even though it did appear as if I was participating in it, I said it was a dumb idea. And the reason I voted for it, though, is that it's a conundrum. Here's the conundrum. We have a $17 trillion debt and people at home tell me you can't give the president a blank check. We just can't keep raising the debt ceiling without conditions. So unconditionally raising the debt ceiling, nobody at home wants me to vote for that and I can't vote for that. But the conundrum is if I don't we do approach these deadlines. So there is an impasse. In 2011, though, we had this impasse and the president did negotiate. We got the sequester. If we were to extend the sequester from discretionary spending to all the entitlements we would actually fix our problem within a few years.

Rand Paul: Time for GOP to soften war stance
...by softening its edge on some volatile social issues and altering its image as the party always seemingly "eager to go to war... We do need to expand the party and grow the party and that does mean that we don't always all agree on every issue" ... the party needs to become more welcoming to individuals who disagree with basic Republican doctrine on emotional social issues such as gay marriage... "We're going to have to be a little hands off on some of these issues ... and get people into the party," Paul said.

Rand Paul's immigration speech
...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.

Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.

Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.

Let's start that conversation by acknowledging we aren't going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.

If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...

This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.

Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.

Rand Paul calls on conservatives to embrace immigration reform
Latinos, should be a natural constituency for the party, Paul argued, but "Republicans have pushed them away with harsh rhetoric over immigration." ...he would create a bipartisan panel to determine how many visas should be granted for workers already in the United States and those who might follow... [and the buried lead] "Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers...

Yeah, like that’s a difference. Oh wait, CEWrong told me it’s “a matter of degree”.

There is a reason they are doing this; Agenda 21 or One World Govt.

If ya still got to tell people this, you won't be able to penetrate their dense brain boxes. They are unable to see or too stupid to understand government has become massive, threatening, controlling and punitive towards it's own people it's a total lost cause. They can't fathom turning this all around by traditional means just ain't going to happen...

They have no clue...zip.
