In today’s racial environment, my question is why in God’s name would a white law enforcement official (LEO) even attempt to arrest a black perpetrator? Call for a black back up and it that is unavailable, get the hell out of the neighborhood. Any and all stops involving blacks is probably going to end up bad for a white cop.

Funny, it seems that the race relation issue is between black criminals and white police. We should just call it what it really is. Culling the herd of the bad apples.

In the case you mention, the police have not released the names or descriptions of any suspects yet, or said the victim was raped.

Upon reading the story again (posted earlier in FR) there is no proof that the murder of the 19 year old was racially motivated. My bad for reading the comments section and forming an automatic assumption. The story is so heinous I could barely finish it.
Yup. I would pulled have out of there immediately - if I was a white cop I would NEVER arrest or shoot a black suspect.
That’s looking to end my career in law enforcement. You have stupid white cops like the one in Orlando who haven’t learned a thing from Darren Wilson’s ordeal.
The one that shot the black criminal is going to face a criminal investigation and in the end regardless of whether or not he faces a criminal trial, he will be forced to resign from the Orlando Police Department.
Because he IS a white cop. He failed not to get involved here. I’m not saying he didn’t have the right to defend his life. What I am saying is he is screwed no matter how it turns out in the future.
I agree. I read a couple of different articles and find it hard to believe anyone could be so vicious. I pray they find the person(s) responsible. I can’t begin to imagine and suffering she endured and the suffering her family is now enduring.

From what I can tell, this happened in the parking lot of one of the same type of ‘low-income/Section 8’ apartment complexes as the Canfield Apartments in Ferguson.
