Occupying the freeway was a dumb idea.
The protestors ran into a real sheriff, the law and order kind.
Good deal. The fines should be harsh. They’re putting lives in danger.
One hopes the D.A. will charge them, the judge or jury will convict them, and the light bulb will begin at least and at last to flicker.
Once again, the good Sheriff Clarke demonstrates his excellent judgment. He is by all accounts an admirable man.
What is it with these ferals walking in the middle of the streets like they own it? Now its a right to disrupt traffic? Idiots is right.

They should try that on the interstate with black ice on it.

Too bad the police here in St.Louis don’t operate the same as Milwaukee’s. The protestors have shut down our highways and shopping centers. Absolutely ridiculous.
By the way, visited Milwaukee in October. Beautiful, beautiful town. Great food too.

Protesting on a freeway can get get you killed....I wouldn’t have been able to stop on time.....say day after tomorrow?
Milwaukee has the right idea here, even if it leans lefty.
For sure - they should remember that Michael Brown was gunned down, in cold blood, for refusing to move out of the road.......

I had a close encounter with this incident; I was heading downtown from West Allis when 4 county sheriff’s SUVs went hurtling past me, lights and sirens on full. About 90 seconds later, another 4 or 5 passed by... and again after another minute and a half... When I got to the area of the disturbance, there were at least 30 sheriff’s vehicles completely blocking the freeway. I didn’t see any of the malcontents, though; the LEOs probably had them all face down on the ground by that time. - Sheriff Clarke is a brick, he reminds me of our late lamented Police Chief Harold Breier.

You get to ‘hang out’ with ‘New Buds’, Loot & Scoot, be disruptive and have the ‘pigs’ just looking at you, unable to do anything....
Unless of course you get the ‘misfortune’ of landing in a town with Sheriff Joe A., this gentleman here in WI, some of the ‘good old boys’ from the South who have just been itching to get some ‘BOYZ’ in their sites....

It will really get interesting when the ‘roof top guards’ start making it a ‘sport’, hide out and ‘sneak’ up on the roof to BAIT the idiots who had ‘scouted’ the area out and saw no guards...
