Plain Talk: Giving up on a state headed to rock bottom (barf alert)
Madison.com ^ | 05 dec 2014 | Dave Zweifel

Steve Anderson and his wife Sally are planning to move to Minnesota.

They have spent nearly all their lives living and working in Wisconsin, participating in civic projects, volunteering their time for worthy causes, and extolling the virtues of the state whenever the opportunity arose.

But no more.

In the past few years they've watched a state known for its enlightened government and political vibrancy turn into what Steve believes is a state headed to rock bottom, which, then again, might actually be good because it's only when an addict reaches rock bottom that he finally realizes he has to change.

Exactly why I encourage conservatives to stand your ground in the midwest. We’re making big changes and the liberals are starting to flee.

It sounds like Wisconsin will be a better place. Minnesota will be a great fit for them.

No mention about how Wisconsin has grown jobs and opportunities. Things like this aren’t important to Libtards.

Dave Zweifel (author) is an avowed Socialist who embraces Communism. This guy has been a blight on local newspapers for decades.

In summary, a leftist author is writing about blue-fister leftists who are picking up their marbles and moving to a the commune of Minnesota.

Wisconsin used to be a liberal’s paradise owing to the domination of Madison and Milwaukee. The rest of the state got fed up with Madison and Milwaukee voters destroying the state and have been putting Republicans in office for the past few election cycles to the point that Republicans hold all statewide offices, save one unimportant one.

The good news is that these leftists are leaving. My only hope is that this is a mere trickle that turns into a tidal wave.

Well, I can certainly sympathize with Steve & Sally Anderson.
It is hard to function when those around you seem to be opposing everything you have spent your life believing in. I too believed I had to leave the state, I had invested 27 years of my life in. I just could not take the way the state and local governments were heading. So we moved on to greener pastures. Biggest difference being, I did not get a feature story written about my move.

This is the way a federal republic is supposed to work. All the liberals can move to MN, NJ, MA. CA or wherever and all the people who want to be free can move to TX. The problem comes when the Federal government decides that it has unlimited authority to make laws based on the commerce clause. Then there is no where for you to escape.

This couple is retired so they can live wherever they like. I just hate it when people like them move to MY state, get jobs and then start trying to destroy MY way of living with foolishness.

It’s good that libs are leaving. Head to Somali Minnesotistan and “diversify” the hood. Oh you’re afraid (and hypocritical) when it comes to your own self interests?

The Comments are indeed, hilarious. MADistan

Sit back and watch them whine, then throw up the “no entry” signs. KTHO They’re like an infectious disease . . or insects at a picnic.

Also notice how “Steve” was an “educator” then tried business, couldn’t hack the real world, and then slithered back to “education” Not surprising.

Just think, they will have a lot of company when they’re self-flsgellating over their awful, horrible “white privilege”. That alone should make the move worth anything!
