The Republicans in Congress Hate the American People. Just Like the Democrats.
redstate.com ^ | 12/5/14 | Erick Erickson

Republicans ran a campaign in 2014 against the high handed overreach of Barack Obama.

Democrats ran a campaign against Republicans accusing them of hating women and shutting down the government.

Republicans won.

Then Rep. John Boehner (R-OH)N/A and Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY)68% promptly surrendered. They never, despite their campaign rhetoric, had any intention of stopping the President. Boehner and McConnell both agree with the outcome, even if they oppose the means.

But they know they do not have the means to do what the President did, so they’ll go through elaborate kabuki theater while funding the President.

Republican stenographers in the press are running stories about this being Republican leaders reasserting their control over their minion congresscritters. They are going to squash the likes of Heritage Action for America, the Club For Growth, etc.

snip

Rep. John Boehner (R-OH)N/A hates your guts, people. You are neither a lobbyist nor a cigarette so you have no use to him except on one day in November every other year.

But what is so striking here is how many Republicans were willing to lie to you, tell you they would stop the President, and now are giving you the middle finger. Boehner. You, just like Obama’s actions, were a means to an end. And while the GOP may not like the means, they like the ends. They are now in power and Barack Obama gets his amnesty.

You do ultimately, however, have more power than Boehner.

Tell your congressman to both oppose the rule on the continuing resolution and oppose the resolution itself. If Boehner is going to do this, he should be forced to rely on the very Democrats he’s trying to help.

They don’t hate the American people. But the elites of both parties do think that we would be better off as serfs, laboring for subsistence, being bred for work and euthanized when we can work no longer.

They want us to be able to “compete on the global market” and that means competing with nations that use slave labor. The easiest was to do that is have your own slave labor.

The thing they do hate is our sense of being an American. They don’t need people like that. They want citizens of the world, who believe that any nation is equal and the easiest way to create that is to destroy American exceptionalism.

The lying, deceptive, backstabbing, EXEMPT RINO:
"Our grubers and ruse worked, My beloved King."

"At the foundation of our civil liberties lies
the principle that denies to government officials
an exceptional position before the law and which
subjects them to the same rules of conduct
that are commands to the citizen."

I don't want the boehner ,...I want leadership !
If no leadership , then recall the statists, and the complacent, and let's get some action !!

The politicians of both major parties want Amnesty and they wanted Obamacare.

The big money that wants the cheap labor bought Amnesty from the D’s and R’s with Obama and the Dems imposing it and the Republicans pretending to oppose it.

On Obamacare the insurance companies, big hospital groups etc. etc. wanted some sort of “reform” because people without insurance were hurting their bottom lines.

They bought government imposed mandatory insurance with increased money flow into their coffers from Obamacare customers and government (taxpayer) subsidy for Obamacare insurance.

The insurance companies-big hospitals got a bailout just like W Bush gave financial services with TARP in 2008.

Republican Mitt Romney did it first in Massachusetts and then Obama did it for the entire country.

Republicans voted against Obamacare mostly for show with a few principled exceptions.

The GOP will do nothing to reverse the core of Amnesty or the core of Obamacare...they secretly want both because big money special interests that line their political pockets want them.

When do we start a new political party in this country that really wants to change things does not sound such a far fetched idea to me anymore.........

Elites always look down on the masses particularly when they do not live among the citizens. The members of our imperial government have removed themselves from the localities they represent and have taken up residence inside the beltway, not unlike a monarch in the middle ages barricaded behind the wall of a stone castle. Those who govern us prefer the company of celebrities, the super rich, and each other than the serf citizens who toil and pay the taxes permitting them to live lives of luxury.

The same thing has happened with industry. The factory or shop owner no longer lives in the same town as the workers. He or she does not worship at the local church and her/his children do not attend school with the children of the workers. The executives of the conglomerates that have vacuumed up businesses around the country also rule their dominions from glass castles in the sky in New York, Chicago, LA or San Francisco. They travel the globe in private planes, staying in luxurious hotel suites and dining with the elites of the world. They live in private compounds, protected by guards and they educate their children in exclusive private schools and universities. To them the worker in the store at your shopping mall is not the parent of the child playing with their kids after school. The serfs who toil in their factories, warehouses, and stores are merely digital bits of information in a computer that can casually be swept away in a business deal brokered over drinks in London, Paris or Shanghai.

The political and economic elites of today are insulated from those they command to a degree unprecedented in human history. They have also walked away from a shared culture, religion, and sense of national identity. These people feel more affinity to elites on the other side of the planet than they do to the store salesperson they employ living ten miles from their gated compounds.

Boehner and McConnell’s loyalties are to other politicians, wealthy celebrities, the executives of global multinationals, intellectuals at universities, Wall Street bankers, and from time to time foreign governments. The election is over, it is time for the unwashed to go home, be quiet, and produce the tax money fueling the engine of the state. What possibly could a shopkeeper, truck driver, farmer or assembly line worker possibly know about good government?

Back before the election, many here on Free Republic were trying to warn us that the Republicans were for the most part just the other side of the same coin as the Democrats.
Others then told us that a vote for anyone other than a Republican was not only a vote for the Democrat, but maybe even Un American.

Well the Others won, but the big winner seems to have been Obama. With Mitch McConnell and John Boehner up on the podium in second and third.

I just can’t wait until 2016 to see what the Others tell us about voting for the GOP Nominee, Jeb Bush.

Yes. At this point, the only thing the GOP will listen to is the sound of millions of boots walking away from them, and taking their $$$$ with them.

The problem is that the RINO's running the GOP get all the money they need from the big money donors. They could care less about the $25 a year donors or voters. They figure people will vote for them and if they have the money for ads, screw the GOP base.

It's time to ukip the RINOs over.
