The U.S. attorney's office on Tuesday charged a 20-year-old St. Paul woman with misusing a passport, ostensibly for travel to join an international terrorist organization in Syria.
According to the criminal complaint, Yusra Ismail stole a friend's passport on Aug. 18 and, three days later, took a flight from Minneapolis-St. Paul to Amsterdam and then Oslo, Norway.
On Aug. 24, Ismail reportedly contacted her family and said that she was in "Sham," which is a term commonly used to describe the area within Syria and Iraq where Islamic State militants are attempting to establish a caliphate, according to a statement from federal prosecutors.
Ismail, who is not a U.S. citizen and cannot obtain a U.S. passport, apparently has not returned to the United States, according to the U.S. attorney's office in Minneapolis.

No mention at all of how this “not American citizen” ever came to be in this country in the first place. I’m glad she is stuck wherever she is.....she can go cook pancakes for some misogynist Muslim zealot for all I care. VERY glad she can’t get back here.
Well ain’t that a shame...btw, how’d she get into the U.S. in the first place?
Anyone who joins or tries to join that group has to be jailed or deported.

They all look the same with bags on their heads...
If she “returns”, hang her immediately.
This is Minnesota.
When they do that they run for office as a DFL candidate.

I wish I could be as confident about that possibility....
Church sponsorship or some other do-gooder ‘non-profit’ organization would be my guess.
FWIW, I don’t think non-tax paying groups should get to help get people here and then pawn their support off on people who work for a living.
