Sorry seems to be the hardest word.
The latest Ferguson confrontation isn't taking place on the streets of the beleaguered city, but between the St. Louis County Police Department and the St. Louis Rams football team -- over an apology, or lack thereof.
The brouhaha started silently when five Rams players took to the field Sunday with their palms in the air -- showing the "hands up, don't shoot" gesture used by protesters decrying the police shooting death of unarmed black teen Michael Brown.
~snip~
St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar sent an e-mail to his staff saying the Rams' chief operating officer called him Monday to apologize.
~snip~
But the Rams said that's just not true.
"We did not apologize," Rams spokesman Artis Twyman told CNN.

I preach this to people that watch certain shows/networks and shop n certain stores. They just don’t get it or don’t care as long as their desires are met.
What that "hands up" symbol really represents is support of a thug who tried to grab a police officer's gun, most probably to shoot him. It's a symbol of blacks who feel they are superior to the law and their enablers.
How is that symbol any different from a burning cross or a swastika? I've had it with anything that supports the thug culture, and will not patronize its sponsors or buy its products. And about those protests being allowed to disrupt traffic and cut off parts of cities? This is the same government that forcibly removed veterans from their memorials and protests about it last year and were ready to use extreme force at the Bundy ranch. This is OUT OF CONTROL!!!
Boycott the Rams. Refuse to attend their games or buy any of their products.
Notify their sponsors of your feelings and tell them you expect them to withdraw their sponsorship and support of the team.
FWIW, it might be worth finding out who NFL sponsors are and calling their customer service lines, expressing your disgust and saying you won’t be purchasing their products any more.
...”unarmed black teen Michael Brown”
Everybody take a drink!

My liver won't thank you, but my Doc is driving a brand-new BMW. Coincidence?
Can somebody explain the hands up don’t shoot craze going viral??? Micheal Brown never raised his hands and said don’t shoot - how can we be rewriting the facts of this shooting already?
Roll Tide.
I’d wager the St. Louis police response to the next 911 call by one of these thuggish gridiron actors will be unavoidably delayed due to unexpectedly heavy traffic.
Well the Rams and any other team that takes up this social farce are cutting their own throats. The looters, thugs, punks, drug dealers, drug users, racists, and entitlement crowd aren’t the ones paying these idiots’ salaries. The NFL won’t and can’t apologize nor discipline their players because of PC BS and the fact that most of their teams are composed of nouveaux rich black men from the street culture. If a group of players wore ‘I am Darren Wilson armbands’ would they be disciplined? Or made some sort of body sign/language supporting DW would they not have been reprimanded? Screw the Rams-I won’t watch them again nor any other team whose players use their public arena as a forum for their stupid farcical political views.
Outstanding idea. Since the rabble rouser left so hates the police, let them try to play games without them.
LOL!
It would be tempting to feed the “oh they’re just selfish” narrative.
If they hired private guards, would they be so diligent to get high minded people?
With the spousal and child abuse issues, general thuggishness on and off the field, and support of thugs as the Rams are showing, I am rapidly getting turned off by the NFL. There are always college and high school football.
Well, they could stand there with their hands up so we would know who was welcome.
Ruck the Fams.
The police should simply tell the Crams to find their own private security and traffic control on game days until a full apology is received.
When politicians attend sports events they are often
booed as much as they are cheered by other fans. Why
is that? I contend that sports fans don’t want to mix
politics and other issues with sports. To many, sports
is an escape. These Ram players and any other would be
stadium PROtesters need to get a clue.
The NFL has a business interest in appealing to the mass audience. It doesn’t want to go the way of the Democratic Party. It will either suppress the politicalization of the game by a few of the players or else pay an enormous price.
