Sorry seems to be the hardest word.
The latest Ferguson confrontation isn't taking place on the streets of the beleaguered city, but between the St. Louis County Police Department and the St. Louis Rams football team -- over an apology, or lack thereof.
The brouhaha started silently when five Rams players took to the field Sunday with their palms in the air -- showing the "hands up, don't shoot" gesture used by protesters decrying the police shooting death of unarmed black teen Michael Brown.

St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar sent an e-mail to his staff saying the Rams' chief operating officer called him Monday to apologize.

But the Rams said that's just not true.
"We did not apologize," Rams spokesman Artis Twyman told CNN.

If you watch the NFL, buy tickets to games or patronize their sponsors this is what you are supporting.
I would sooner send a donation to the American Communist Party.
The cops can have a simple solution, no more security for Rams games. Let them hire a Blackwater type firm.
Local cops and Sheriffs should refuse to work for the next Rams home game.
There’s no way it could be held without police presence.
That’s the thing about “political activism” in the USA - its cheap and easy for stupid folks, because it doesn’t cost anything.
Start attaching a cost to it.
Lets hope the next Rams game the bleachers are mostly empty. The insane will show up.
I suggest everyone write the Rams/NFL and let them know you will no long support/watch them

And this whole symbolism is based on a lie.
We now know from the grand jury report that Brown was charging Wilson when the fatal shots were fired. He was NOT standing there, hands up, asking not to be shot.
But facts don’t matter to the liberals and race baiters do they? All that matters is a liberal narrative of racism, etc. whether supported by the facts of this case or not. Doesn’t matter about the facts.

they need to stop referring to Brown as an unarmed black teen and call him what he was. Brown was a robber fleeing from a convenience store who assaulted a police officer. He is not an innocent black teen gunned down by a cop.
Apologies have the same true value as the US dollar - zero.
Jesse Jackson is lobbying the Seahawks to do the same thing. They just don’t know when to quit. “Hands Up Don’t Shoot” was a lie concocted by Brown’s accomplice, but apparently the race hustlers have too much invested in the slogan to let it go.
I don't follow the NFL at all. I don't even know who is in contention for the Super Bowl, and I don't care.
Maybe they’ll offer a “Looter Special” to fill the seats.
The Rams have come a long way down from the classy team coached by George Allen so beloved by Southern Californians.
Does not matter as they are on their way back to Los Angeles anyhow.
I watch college football thuggery now.

That “unarmed teen” crap has pissed me off for months.
Brown WAS armed. And they knew it. They just chose to further the lie.
Whenever two individuals are fighting for possession of a weapon, both are deemed to be in possession until the conflict is over.
Thank God Officer Wilson won that fight.
Send the Lambs back to LA.
