Farren Wilson has resigned from the Ferguson, Mo., Police Department in wake of fatal shooting of Michael Brown, his attorney said today.

Wilson's resignation comes five days after a grand jury investigating the Aug. 9 shooting declined to indict the police officer. He has been on administrative leave since the shooting.

One of his attorneys, Neil Bruntrager, said the resignation is effective immediately.

Well of course he resigned. I hope he’s changed his name, too, and he might move to Alaska or Texas or somewhere where they are ok shooting thugs.

Of course. It would be just plain dumb for him to go back to the Ferguson PD, even though he did nothing wrong.

I’m seeing a lot of Lefty posts that his resignation is some kind of admission of guilt. Other comments like “Serves the bastard right”.

These libtards wouldn’t bat an eye about news that some cop was dead in the street.

Hopefully, he’ll get a job in some red state. By all accounts, he was a model cop before this incident.

Of course. That's what this whole thing has been about ultimately.

The wrong guy died. If that kid would have taken the officer gun and shot him dead, we wouldn't have even heard one word of this incident.

I think the New York Times as much as anything else, let him know that the establishment media had declared war on him regardless of wrong doing or not.

He didn’t have a prayer of a chance of being safe. When you have a new wife and a kid on the way, their safety comes first too.

It’s one thing to tough it out by yourself. You can’t do that for loved ones.

The National Socialists/totalitarians have basically placed a fatwa on his head. Criminals of this type do not stop unless they are exterminated. Witness history and current events.

HOORAY Darren Wilson!

DEPOPULATE National Socialists/totalitarians from the body politic. Eliminate these deceivers from their platforms to amplify speech. (10 strikes and you’re out?…when do you get labelled a serial liar?)

He needs to move to a small town where people have rifles on a rack in their pickup.

I heard a story of such a place 20 or 30 years ago where some folks tried to rob the local bank.

The locals just pulled out their rifles, and gunned down the robbers...

He probably has a stack of job offers on the table which won’t put him on patrol on the streets. Seems like a smart guy. With some extra schooling he could be a detective, if he wanted to stay in law enforcement, or any number of other professions.
