It isn't the firearms that commit crimes, it is the thugs. He could have blamed the criminals, but went off on the guns instead, which makes me wonder if his 'solution' isn't to do away with "high-capacity, quality firearms".
High capacity firearms are NOT the problem, I have several as to many of my friends NON of us are using them to commit crime. The CRIMINAL element in his city is the problem and he ENABLING community in which they live.
If he was elected I see him being a “lets take the guns away from the citizens then maybe some day deal with the criminals that still have them..” type but that is a quick read he may not be..

It would be interesting to know if the quality of firearms used in homicide are increasing over those used, say, 20 years ago, when the homicide rate was much higher.
This could go either way I think.
Flynn is a premier gun-grabber. He even testified in DC about some of the gun-control legislation.
He just had a moment of honesty here but relapsed immediately to politically correct law enforcement.
