(from the article):" Meanwhile, the only "crisis" Obama claims he is responding to is Congress' "failure to act."

The effect of two dictators :one a president , and one in the Senate (Reid) with the 'nuclear option', and a pocket veto.

That arrogant pos sure acts like a king, or better yet like an emperor. He has no business making up laws, that is Congress’ job. His job is to enforce laws.

They showed footage of him signing it on AF1 on the way to Vegas.

Reagan and Bush were mostly cleaning up problems with laws passed by Congress.

Yeah....and look what President Reagan put into the 1986 bill that also solved future problems with presidential diktats.

“President Obama signed two executive orders on Friday that would delay deportation for millions of illegal immigrants. The president, who signed the controversial policies aboard Air Force One, then spoke about his action at Del Sol High School in Las Vegas.”

> "Also he already had de facto done this by ordering the stand down of the entire immigration enforcement already."

You're missing the really dangerous part of what Obama has done.

Jonah Goldberg gets it but Freepers got it here first including yours truly. Here's what Goldberg gets:

If all King Obama was doing was opting not to deport some immigrants here illegally, he'd be on safer ground. But his new proposal would allow an estimated 3.5 million "undocumented Americans" to get all sorts of documents -- Social Security numbers, work permits, drivers licenses, etc. That's not prosecutorial discretion, that's a rewrite of existing law.

But that's not yet the danger part; by 'danger' I mean harm and likely irreparable harm to the United States.

The danger part is that all those documents that Obama is preparing to issue to illegals will enable them to register to vote, and sooner than most people can imagine.

See here the tip of the iceberg:

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2014/10/22/Ineligible-DACA-Beneficiaries-Discovered-On-NC-Voting-Rolls

The attack on the United States is from the Left and the strategy is to turn Red states Blue. Texas is a prime target.

But the effects will be felt in the 2016 presidential election. When Obama's people make the 'applications' available for the illegals, what follows is documentation and an army of community organizers now known as 'Community Service Officers' who will get the newly documented illegals registered to vote. The law that a person must be a citizen doesn't matter to these people.

So it's not about keeping Obama relevant in the news. It's much more dangerous than Obama.

And note, Obama is a stooge used by others. He was told to sit down and write these 'Executive Actions' as directives. He was told to wait until after the election. He was told not to issue Executive Orders because EOs have legal binding authority and can be more easily challenged and overturned in court.

Obama is a puppet. The puppetmasters are in the 'Democracy Alliance'; look it up.

What was it he was signing? All accounts I’ve read say there’s no executive order.

Moreover, the Emancipation Proclamation didn't have a two-year time limit

Everyone that thinks this is only going to last for two years, please raise your hand. That's what I thought.

I would love for Jonah to define what, in this situation, would be considered “overreacting”.

So, what's the correct Republican response? To just stand there like deer in the headlights? Are we suppose to just sit around all the time and run the clock out on Obama and not respond to his destruction? Sometimes I don't get our pundits.

Honestly, who knows what the hell this buffoon is trying to do. In Chicago he said “So don’t take the short-term, easy route and just engage in destructive behavior. Take the long-term, hard but lasting route of working with me and governors and state officials to bring about some real change. “

But a week ago He was “tired of waiting” because “real change” was taking too long so he went ahead with a “destructive” executive action on immigration.

Go to whitehouse.gov. Look for EOs

The last registered EO was October 17 2014.

You may have seen golf-one sign a piece of paper but it wasn’t an EO.

Smoke, mirrors, and misdirection are the tools of grifters and stage magician.

Because it isn’t listed yet means he didn’t sign it?

A guberment worker will get around to recording it in due time, you can’t rush them.

You do know that the White House trumpets all his significant actions?

This one was especially significant, historic.

In any case the actual EO would have a number and date. No action can proceed absent the authority signed, dated, and numbered document.

Check the National Archives site and The Congressional Register, it would also be in one of those.

You didn’t go to whitehouse.gov did you? Snort

It’s amazing how people say “don’t over react” when you are just reacting normally to their over reaction to something. I worked once for a district manager who sent a letter out to 83 of us threatening to “terminate” anyone who accounted for more than one percent of the errors on a monthly report that he didn’t even understand. If each person made one error only per month we would all have been subject to being fired because with 83 people in the group each person would have accounted for one and two tenths percent of the total. Mathematically it was guaranteed that he would have been firing people every month until we were all gone and he did not understand simple arithmetic enough to see it. Naturally when people protested he said, no joke, “Don’t take everything so seriously, you are overreacting.”
